耶和华如此说：你们要施行公平和公义，拯救被抢夺的脱离欺压人的手，不可亏负寄居的和孤儿寡妇，不可以强暴待他们，在这地方也不可流无辜人的血。

世人哪，耶和华已指示你何为善。他向你所要的是什么呢？只要你行公义，好怜悯，存谦卑的心，与你的神同行。

你们当为贫寒的人和孤儿伸冤；当为困苦和穷乏的人施行公义。当保护贫寒和穷乏的人，救他们脱离恶人的手。”

你的官长居心悖逆，与盗贼作伴，各都喜爱贿赂，追求赃私。他们不为孤儿伸冤；寡妇的案件也不得呈到他们面前。

你当开口按公义判断，为困苦和穷乏的辨屈。

“万军之耶和华曾对你们的列祖如此说：‘要按至理判断，各人以慈爱怜悯弟兄。不可欺压寡妇、孤儿、寄居的，和贫穷人。谁都不可心里谋害弟兄。’”

难道你作王是在乎造香柏木楼房争胜吗？你的父亲岂不是也吃也喝、也施行公平和公义吗？那时他得了福乐。他为困苦和穷乏人伸冤，那时就得了福乐。认识我不在乎此吗？这是耶和华说的。

世上遵守耶和华典章的谦卑人哪，你们都当寻求耶和华！当寻求公义谦卑，或者在耶和华发怒的日子可以隐藏起来。

你们所当行的是这样：各人与邻舍说话诚实，在城门口按至理判断，使人和睦。

王啊，求你悦纳我的谏言，以施行公义断绝罪过，以怜悯穷人除掉罪孽，或者你的平安可以延长。”
