Although they have sold themselves among the nations, I will now gather them together. They will begin to waste away under the oppression of the mighty king.

故此你看吧，我就要將你一切所愛的人、那些跟你甜蜜的人都招集攏來，你一切所愛的人、加上你一切所討厭的人、我都要從四圍招集攏來，以攻擊你，將你的下體向他們露出，使他們看盡了你的下體。

我必來懲罰他們。他們給雙重罪孽捆綁着，列族之民必聚集來攻擊他們。

『故此、阿荷利巴啊，主永恆主這麼說：「看吧，我必激動你所愛的人來攻擊你，就是你的心跟他們疏隔的那些人，我必使這些人來、從四圍來攻擊你：來的是：巴比倫人、迦勒底眾人、比割人、書亞人、哥亞人，同着他們的還有亞述眾人，都是可愛的青年人，做總督做省長的，軍官和戰士，都騎着馬。他們必帶着兵器，有車輛輥輥旋轉的戰車，和一團隊族眾、來攻擊你；他們要拿着大牌小盾，穿着鎧甲擺上陣，在你四圍來攻擊你：我要將判罰的事交給他們；他們必按他們自己的判例來判罰你。我必在你身上發洩我的妒憤，使他們以烈怒來辦你。他們必去掉你的鼻子和耳朵；你餘留下的人必倒斃於刀下；他們必將你的兒女擄去；你所餘留下的必給火燒燬掉。他們必將你的衣服剝下來，把你的華美寶器拿走。

『因為主永恆主這麼說：看吧，我必導引諸王之王、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、率領馬匹車輛、馬兵、和許多團兵眾、從北方來攻擊你推羅。

因為主永恆主這麼說：『讓一幫人上來攻擊她們吧！使她們成為令人不寒而慄、令人擄掠的對象吧！這一幫人必扔石頭把她們砍死，用刀劍把她們砍殺；她們的兒女他們要殺戮；她們的房屋他們要放火燒。

亞述王普勒都常來攻打以色列地；米拿現給了普勒一千擔銀子、請普勒一手幫助、來鞏固國權於手中。米拿現向以色列、向一切大有財力的人索取了銀子、去給亞述王，每一個人五十舍客勒；於是亞述王回去，沒有在以色列地那裏停留着。

於是參謀長站着，用猶大語大聲喊叫說：『你們要聽大王亞述王的話。

王啊，列王之王啊，——天上的上帝已將國度、權柄、能力、尊榮、賜給了你；

對神言人耶利米說：『願你允准我們在你面前所懇求的，為我們這餘剩之民禱告永恆主你的上帝；因為我們由眾多餘剩到稀少，這是你親眼看見的；

人怎樣將銀、銅、鐵、鉛、錫、集合在鑪中，噴火去熔化它，我也必怎樣用我的怒氣我的烈怒將你們集合攏來，放在城中來熔化你們。

故此以色列的上帝激動了亞述王普勒的心、就是亞述王提革拉毘尼色的心，王就使如便人、迦得人、瑪拿西半族派的人流亡到哈臘、哈博、哈拉、和歌散河邊；他們的後裔到今日還在那裏。

因此我將她交於她所愛的人手中，她所戀愛的亞述人手中。這些人揭開了她的下體，擄了她的兒女，用刀殺了她，使她於被判罰上在婦女中成了話柄。

亞述王撒縵以色上來攻擊何細亞，何細亞就臣服他，給他進貢。

因為永恆主看見以色列人所受的患難很苦：無論自主不自主的、都沒有了；也沒有幫助以色列人的。

因為萬軍之永恆主這麼說：再過一小段時我必再一次震動天和地、洋海和旱地；
