They do not cry out to me from their hearts but wail on their beds. They slash themselves, appealing to their gods for grain and new wine, but they turn away from me.

“人因多受欺压就哀求，因强权者的膀臂而求救。但无人说：‘造我的神在哪里？他使人夜间歌唱，

你们求也得不着，是因为你们妄求，为了要浪费在你们的宴乐中。

虽有这一切的事，她奸诈的妹妹犹大还不一心归向我，不过是假意归我。这是耶和华说的。”

“你要向这地全体百姓和祭司说：‘你们这七十年来，在五月、七月禁食悲哀，岂是真的向我禁食吗？

他们在各祭坛旁边，躺卧在人所典当的衣服上，又在他们神的殿里喝受罚之人的酒。

他杀他们的时候，他们才求问他，回心转意，切切寻求神。他们追念神是他们的磐石，至高的神是他们的救赎主。他们却用口谄媚他，用舌向他说谎。他们的心向他不坚定，不忠于他的约。

看哪，我的仆人因心中喜乐而欢呼，你们却因心里悲痛而哀哭，因灵里忧伤而哀号。

主说：“因这百姓以口亲近我，用嘴唇尊敬我，心却远离我；他们敬畏我，不过是领受前人的命令。

若有人心存虚假，用谎言说：“我向你们传讲可得清酒和烈酒”，那人就必作这百姓的传讲者。

他们出到田间，摘下葡萄，踹酒，作乐。他们进入他们神明的庙中吃喝，诅咒亚比米勒。

他们的结局就是灭亡。他们的神明是自己的肚腹；他们以自己的羞辱为光荣，专以地上的事为念。

那日，宫殿里的诗歌要变为哀号；必有许多尸首抛在各处，安静无声。”这是主耶和华说的。

耶和华又对我说：“你去爱那情人所爱却犯奸淫的妇人，正如耶和华爱那偏向别神、喜爱葡萄饼的以色列人。”

我的百姓既是白白地被掳，如今我在这里做什么呢？这是耶和华说的。辖制他们的人欢呼，我的名终日不断受亵渎，这是耶和华说的。

注意！你们这些富足人哪，要为将要临到你们身上的灾难哭泣、号啕。

次日清早，百姓起来献燔祭和平安祭，就坐下吃喝，起来玩乐。

因为这样的人不服侍我们的主基督，只服侍自己的肚腹，用花言巧语诱惑老实人的心。

撒玛利亚要担当罪孽，因为背叛自己的神。他们必倒在刀下，婴孩必被摔碎，孕妇必被剖开。
