我使以法莲如虫蛀之物，使犹大家如朽烂之木。

我对以法莲竟如蛀虫，向犹大家竟如朽烂。

我对以法莲竟如蛀虫，向犹大家竟如朽烂。

我要使以法莲像虫蛀的衣服，使犹大家像朽烂的木头。

因此我要成为以法莲的蛀虫，成为犹大家的朽烂。

我使以法蓮如蟲蛀之物，使猶大家如朽爛之木。

我對以法蓮竟如蛀蟲，向猶大家竟如朽爛。

我對以法蓮竟如蛀蟲，向猶大家竟如朽爛。

我要使以法蓮像蟲蛀的衣服，使猶大家像朽爛的木頭。

因此我要成為以法蓮的蛀蟲，成為猶大家的朽爛。

因此我本身對以法蓮竟像膿水，我對猶大家竟如「腐爛」。

故我於以法蓮如蠹、於猶大家如黴、

我必使以法蓮漸亡、如衣之被蠹、使猶大家殘蝕、如木之已朽。

我必使以法蓮如衣被蠹、使猶大族如木已朽、

I am like a moth to Ephraim, like rot to the people of Judah.

I will be like a moth to Ephraim. I will cause Judah to rot away.

But I am like a moth to Ephraim, and like dry rot to the house of Judah.

I will destroy Israel as a moth consumes wool. I will make Judah as weak as rotten wood.

So I am like rot to Ephraim and like decay to the house of Judah.

Therefore I am like a moth to Ephraim, And like rottenness to the house of Judah.

Therefore I will be to Ephraim like a moth, And to the house of Judah like rottenness.

Therefore am I unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.

So I am like rot to Ephraim and like decay to the house of Judah.

Therefore[ will] I[ be] unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.

I will be like a moth to Ephraim, like wood rot to the house of Judah.

Therefore I am to Ephraim like a moth, and to the house of Judah like rottenness.

For the moth will eat them up like a garment; the worm will devour them like wool. But my righteousness will last forever, my salvation through all generations.” (niv)

But at dawn the next day God provided a worm, which chewed the plant so that it withered. (niv)

It is the Sovereign Lord who helps me. Who will condemn me? They will all wear out like a garment; the moths will eat them up. (niv)

If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. (niv)
