地豈不因這事震動？其中的居民豈不悲哀嗎？全地必如尼羅河漲起，如埃及的尼羅河湧起退落。

這地悲哀，一切田野的青草枯乾要到幾時呢？因其上居民的惡行，牲畜和飛鳥都滅絕了。因為他們說：「他看不見我們的結局。」

他說：「耶和華必從錫安吼叫，從耶路撒冷出聲；牧人的草場哀傷，迦密的山頂枯乾。」

他斥責海，使海枯乾，使一切江河乾涸。巴珊和迦密衰殘，黎巴嫩的花草也衰殘了。
