In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky and the creatures that move along the ground. Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety.

At that time I will make a covenant for the good of my people. I will make it with the wild animals and the birds in the sky. It will also be made with the creatures that move along the ground. 「我要與他們立平安的約，使惡獸從境內斷絕；他們在曠野也能安然居住，在樹林也能躺臥。

「住以色列城鎮的人要出去生火，用軍器燃燒，就是大小盾牌、弓箭、棍棒、槍矛；用它們來燒火，直燒了七年。他們不必從田野撿柴，也不必從森林伐木，因為他們要用這些軍器燒火。他們要搶奪那搶奪他們的人，擄掠那擄掠他們的人。這是主耶和華說的。」

在他的日子，猶大必得救，以色列也安然居住。他的名必稱為『耶和華－我們的義』。

他必在萬國中施行審判，為許多民族斷定是非。他們要將刀打成犁頭，把槍打成鐮刀；這國不舉刀攻擊那國，他們也不再學習戰事。

因為你必與田間的石頭立約，田裏的野獸也必與你和好。

野狼必與羔羊同食，獅子必吃草，與牛一樣，蛇必以塵土為食物；在我聖山的遍處，牠們都不傷人，也不害物；這是耶和華說的。」

他止息戰爭，直到地極；他折弓、斷槍，把戰車焚燒在火中。

到那日，眼目高傲的必降卑，狂妄的人必屈膝；惟獨耶和華被尊崇。

他必在許多民族中施行審判，為遠方強盛的國斷定是非。他們要將刀打成犁頭，把槍打成鐮刀。這國不舉刀攻擊那國，他們也不再學習戰事。人人都要坐在自己的葡萄樹和無花果樹下，無人使他們驚嚇；這是萬軍之耶和華親口說的。

耶和華要作全地的王。那日，耶和華必為獨一無二，他的名也是獨一無二。

住在至高者隱密處的，必住在全能者的蔭下。我要向耶和華說：「我的避難所、我的山寨、我的上帝，你是我所倚靠的。」他必救你脫離捕鳥者的羅網和毀滅人的瘟疫。他必用自己的翎毛遮蔽你；你要投靠在他翅膀底下，他的信實是大小的盾牌。你必不怕黑夜的驚駭，或是白日飛的箭，也不怕黑夜流行的瘟疫，或是午間滅人的災害。雖有千人仆倒在你旁邊，萬人仆倒在你右邊，這災卻不得臨近你。你惟親眼觀看，見惡人遭報。因為耶和華是我的避難所，你以至高者為居所，禍患必不臨到你，災害也不挨近你的帳棚。因他要為你命令他的使者，在你所行的一切道路上保護你。他們要用手托住你，免得你的腳碰在石頭上。你要踹踏獅子和毒蛇，踐踏少壯獅子和大蛇。

人的驕傲必屈膝，人的狂妄必降卑；在那日，惟獨耶和華被尊崇，

我必除滅以法蓮的戰車和耶路撒冷的戰馬；戰爭的弓也必剪除。他要向列國講和平；他的權柄必從這海管到那海，從大河管到地極。

在那日，必有許多國家歸附耶和華，作我的子民。我要住在你中間。」你就知道萬軍之耶和華差遣我到你那裏去。

在那日，你們各人要請鄰舍坐在葡萄樹和無花果樹下。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」

你們打穀物要打到摘葡萄的時候，摘葡萄要摘到播種的時候。你們要吃糧食得飽足，在你們的地上安然居住。我要賜平安在地上；你們躺臥，無人驚嚇。我要使你們地上的惡獸消滅，刀劍必不穿越你們的地。

當那日，在猶大地，人必唱這歌：「我們有堅固的城，耶和華賜救恩為城牆，為城郭。

在那些日子，猶大必得救，耶路撒冷必安然居住，他的名必稱為『耶和華－我們的義』。

那日，他的腳必站在橄欖山上，這山面向耶路撒冷的東邊。橄欖山必從中間裂開，自東至西成為極大的谷；山的一半向北挪移，一半向南挪移。

我的僕人雅各啊，不要懼怕；以色列啊，不要驚惶；因我從遠方拯救你，從被擄之地拯救你的後裔；雅各必回來得享平靜安逸，無人能使他害怕。這是耶和華說的。

他使我躺臥在青草地上，領我在可安歇的水邊。
