以法莲必说：‘我与偶像还有什么关涉呢？’我耶和华回答他，也必顾念他。我如青翠的松树；你的果子从我而得。”

“以法莲啊，你要远离偶像。我应允你的祷告，看顾你。我像一棵青翠的松树，你的果实都来自于我。”

以法蓮必說：我與偶像還有甚麼關涉呢？我－耶和華回答他，也必顧念他。我如青翠的松樹；你的果子從我而得。

以法蓮哪，我和偶像還有甚麼關係呢？是我應了他，也是我監視他。以法蓮唱：『我如同青翠的松樹。』永恆主和：『你的果子是從我而來的。』

以法蓮將曰、我與偶像猶有何涉、我耶和華既應之、必加眷顧、我若青松、爾將由我而結實、

以法蓮族與偶像何涉、我垂念之、使之扶疏若松、賴我而結實、

以法蓮將云、我與偶像何涉、我耶和華必應允之、眷顧之、我若根深葉茂之柏樹、爾欲獲果、惟由我而獲、爾欲獲果惟由我而獲或作爾惟賴我而結實

Ephraim, what more have I to do with idols? I will answer him and care for him. I am like a flourishing juniper; your fruitfulness comes from me.”

Ephraim will have nothing more to do with other gods. I will answer the prayers of my people. I will take good care of them. I will be like a healthy juniper tree to them. All the fruit they bear will come from me.”

O Ephraim, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress; from me comes your fruit.

“ O Israel, stay away from idols! I am the one who answers your prayers and cares for you. I am like a tree that is always green; all your fruit comes from me.”

Ephraim, why should I have anything more to do with idols? It is I who answer and watch over him. I am like a flourishing pine tree; your fruit comes from me.

Ephraim, what more have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like a luxuriant juniper; From Me comes your fruit.

“ Ephraim shall say,‘ What have I to do anymore with idols?’ I have heard and observed him. I am like a green cypress tree; Your fruit is found in Me.”

Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have answered, and will regard him: I am like a green fir- tree; from me is thy fruit found.

Ephraim, why should I have anything more to do with idols? It is I who answer and watch over him. I am like a flourishing pine tree; your fruit comes from Me.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (niv)

I will put in the desert the cedar and the acacia, the myrtle and the olive. I will set junipers in the wasteland, the fir and the cypress together, (niv)

For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do— living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.They are surprised that you do not join them in their reckless, wild living, and they heap abuse on you. (niv)

filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ— to the glory and praise of God. (niv)

for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose. (niv)

Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed what they had done.A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas.In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power. (niv)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. (niv)

Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to him:“ Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit of our lips.Assyria cannot save us; we will not mount warhorses. We will never again say‘ Our gods’ to what our own hands have made, for in you the fatherless find compassion.” (niv)

“ I have surely heard Ephraim’s moaning:‘ You disciplined me like an unruly calf, and I have been disciplined. Restore me, and I will return, because you are the Lord my God.After I strayed, I repented; after I came to understand, I beat my breast. I was ashamed and humiliated because I bore the disgrace of my youth.’Is not Ephraim my dear son, the child in whom I delight? Though I often speak against him, I still remember him. Therefore my heart yearns for him; I have great compassion for him,” declares the Lord. (niv)

When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him,“ Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.”“ How do you know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus answered,“ I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.” (niv)

I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (niv)
