万军之耶和华说：“那日，我必从地上除灭偶像的名，不再被人记念；也必使这地不再有假先知与污秽的灵。

“以法莲与列邦人搀杂；以法莲是没有翻过的饼。

“一个人不能侍奉两个主；不是恶这个、爱那个，就是重这个、轻那个。你们不能又侍奉神，又侍奉玛门。”

故此，神就给他们一个生发错误的心，叫他们信从虚谎，使一切不信真理、倒喜爱不义的人都被定罪。
