For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit,

因为那些曾经蒙了光照，尝过属天的恩赐的滋味，与圣灵有分，

原来，如果有人蒙过一次光照、尝过属天恩赐的滋味、曾经与圣灵有份、

論到那些已經蒙了光照、嘗過天恩的滋味、又於聖靈有分，

論到那些已經蒙了光照、嘗過天恩的滋味、又於聖靈有份、並嘗過上帝的話的美味，和來世權能的人，若再離棄真道，就不可能使他們重新懊悔了；因為他們親自把上帝的兒子重釘十字架，公然羞辱他。

因為人既儘一次蒙了光照，又嘗過屬天之白白的恩，而有分於聖靈，

原來，如果有人蒙過一次光照、嘗過屬天恩賜的滋味、曾經與聖靈有份、

夫人既蒙光照、得承天賚、共與聖神、

乃有始則明道、蒙天錫賚、共享聖神、

蓋人已蒙光照、受天上賞賜、得聖神之感、

蓋人若曾蒙光照、曾味靈寵、曾受聖神、

It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,

What if some people fall away from the faith? It won’t be possible to bring them back. It is true that they have seen the light. They have tasted the heavenly gift. They have shared in the Holy Spirit.

For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit,

For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened— those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit,

For it is impossible to renew to repentance those who were once enlightened, who tasted the heavenly gift, who shared in the Holy Spirit,

For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit,

For as touching those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,

For it is impossible to renew to repentance those who were once enlightened, who tasted the heavenly gift, became companions with the Holy Spirit,

For[ it is] impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

For it is impossible in the case of those who have once been enlightened, tasted the heavenly gift, become partakers of the Holy Spirit,

For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace?

For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.But it has happened to them according to the true proverb:“ A dog returns to his own vomit,” and,“ a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

“ You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and He will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I do not say that he should pray about that.

Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.”

“ Not everyone who says to Me,‘ Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.Many will say to Me in that day,‘ Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

But recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated, you endured a great struggle with sufferings:

“ When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says,‘ I will return to my house from which I came.’And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order.Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”

So he took up his oracle and said:“ The utterance of Balaam the son of Beor, And the utterance of the man whose eyes are opened;The utterance of him who hears the words of God, And has the knowledge of the Most High, Who sees the vision of the Almighty, Who falls down, with eyes wide open:

John answered and said,“ A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.

in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,

This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright.For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.

“ Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.

Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.

God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?

And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

Then Jesus said to them,“ Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven.

of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.

Jesus answered and said to her,“ If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you,‘ Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?—

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

But Peter said to him,“ Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.

So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us,

Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works.

Then he took up his oracle and said:“ The utterance of Balaam the son of Beor, The utterance of the man whose eyes are opened,

For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established—

If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?”
