既有這安息保留着讓一些人進入，那些先前聽見福音的人，因不信從而不得進去，

所以，既然这安息为了一些进入它的人被保留下来，可是由于那些原先得以听到福音的人，因着不信从而没有进去，

既有必進安息的人，那先前聽見福音的，因為不信從，不得進去。

既然最終會有人進入安息，而那些從前聽過福音的人因為不信沒能進去，

既然這安息還留著要讓一些人進去，但那些以前聽過福音的人，因為不順從不得進去；

那麼這安息既保留着要給一部分人進入，而先前得聽福音傳給他們的人又因不信、而沒有進入，

所以，既然這安息為了一些進入它的人被保留下來，可是由於那些原先得以聽到福音的人，因著不信從而沒有進去，

既有宜入之人、而先聞福音者、因不順故不入、

然安息終必有人享之、而先聞嘉音者不信故不得享、

如是、必別有得享安息者、但先聞福音者、因不信故、而不得享、

可見後來者必有得入者焉。彼先聞慈音者之不得入、徒以執迷不悟故耳。

Therefore since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience,

It is still true that some people will enjoy this rest. But those who had the good news announced to them earlier didn’t go in. That’s because they didn’t obey.

Since therefore it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news failed to enter because of disobedience,

So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God.

Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who formerly received the good news did not enter because of disobedience,

Therefore, since it remains for some to enter it, and those who previously had good news preached to them failed to enter because of disobedience,

Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience,

Seeing therefore it remaineth that some should enter thereinto, and they to whom the good tidings were before preached failed to enter in because of disobedience,

所以我告訴你們，神的國必從你們奪去，賜給那能結果子的民。

他向誰起誓，不容他們進入他的安息呢？豈不是向那些不信從的人嗎？這樣看來，他們不能進入安息是因為不信的緣故了。

你們的孩子，就是你們說要成為擄物的，我必領他們進去，他們就得知你們所厭棄的那地。

你們必留下自己的名給我選民指着賭咒：主耶和華必殺你們，另起別名稱呼他的僕人。

於是保羅和巴拿巴放膽說：「神的道本應先傳給你們；只因你們棄絕這道，斷定自己不配得永生，我們就轉向外邦人。因為主曾這樣吩咐我們：『我已經立你作萬邦之光，使你施行我的救恩，直到地極。』」

所以你們要往岔路口上去，凡遇見的，都邀來赴宴。』那些僕人就出去，到大路上，凡遇見的，不論善惡都招聚了來，宴席上就坐滿了客人。

因為的確有福音傳給我們像傳給他們一樣；只是所聽見的道對他們無益，因為他們沒有以信心與所聽見的道配合。

我要用瘟疫擊殺他們，使他們不得承受那地。我要使你成為大國，比他們強大。」

聖經既然預先看見神要使外邦人因信稱義，預先傳福音給亞伯拉罕，說：「萬國都必因你得福。」

所以，你們當知道，神這救恩已經傳給外邦人；他們會聽的。」

那僕人回來，把這些事都告訴了主人。這家的主人就發怒，對僕人說：『快出去，到城裏大街小巷，領那貧窮的、殘疾的、失明的、瘸腿的來。』僕人說：『主啊，你所吩咐的已經辦了，還有空位。』主人對僕人說：『你出去，到大街小巷強拉人進來，坐滿我的屋子。我告訴你們，先前所請的人沒有一個可以嘗到我的宴席。』」

這樣看來，另有一安息日的安息為神的子民保留着。

弟兄們，我是說：時候不多了。從此以後，那有妻子的，要像沒有一樣；
