嗟夫、有若斯聖善純正、無玷無染、遠絕乎罪人、而超軼乎諸天之上者、作吾人之大司祭、不亦美乎！

夫既有上徹諸天之天主聖子耶穌、作吾人之大司祭、豈可不堅守教義、始終不渝乎？

乃屈尊紆貴、甘自為僕、而降生為人。其為人也、復謙之又謙、損之又損、惟天主之命是從；鞠躬盡瘁、死而後已、終至致命於十字架上。

天主以無罪之身、顯現於世者、欲滌除吾人之罪也。

基督平生未犯一罪、口無欺人之言、

既暮、人紛攜中魔者來、耶穌片言祛魔。凡有病者、亦悉為治之、莫不康復。先知意灑雅言曰：『吾人之疚、由彼身受；吾人之疴、由彼擔荷；』

正惟其本身亦囿於荏弱故能與愚昧迷妄者同病相憐。

爾中有能證予為邪妄者乎？予既以真理語爾、爾亦胡為不予信乎？

惟爾曹乃與我共患難者。

不折殘葦、不滅殘燈；所向風靡、以義為兵；

期中未嘗進食、期滿始飢；
