Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.

亞基帕王、是以我不違背天之顯示、

所行乃循今世之俗、從在空中掌權之君、即今誘惑悖逆不順者之神、

因此諸事天主之震怒、臨於不信之人、

故兄弟更當殷勤、使爾蒙召蒙選之恩、堅定不移、爾若行此、則永不躓蹶、如是、門將為爾大啟、以入我主救主耶穌基督永存之國、○

昔爾曹不信天主、今反因以色列人之不信、而蒙矜恤、如是、以色列人今不信、使其因爾之蒙矜恤、亦蒙矜恤、天主藩眾於不信之中、特欲矜恤眾耳、

毋為可壞之糧而勞、當為存至永生之糧而勞、即人子所將賜爾者、蓋父天主曾以印印證之矣、

我所愛者乎、爾常順服、不第我與爾同在之時、今我與爾不同在、更當畏懼戰慄、成爾求救之工、

昔我儕亦無知、背逆、迷惑、役於嗜慾及諸淫佚、常行暴很媢嫉之事、且為人所惡、而彼此相惡、

爾曹當進窄門、蓋引至淪亡、其門闊、其路寛、入之者多、

律法及先知、至約翰為止、自是天主國福音傳布、人人勉力以進之、
