and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,“ My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, Nor faint when you are punished by Him;

你们又忘了那劝你们如同劝儿子的话，说：“我儿，你不可轻看主的管教，被他责备的时候也不可灰心。

你们又忘了上帝劝你们如同劝儿女的那些话，说：“我儿啊，不可轻看主的管教，被他责备的时候不可灰心；

你们又忘了神劝你们如同劝儿女的那些话，说：“我儿啊，不可轻看主的管教，被他责备的时候不可灰心；

你们难道忘了那像劝勉儿子一样劝勉你们的话吗？“孩子啊，不可轻视主的管教，被祂责备的时候也不要灰心。

你们又忘记了那劝你们好像劝儿子的话，说：“我儿！你不可轻看主的管教，受责备的时候也不要灰心；

难道你们已经忘记那安慰的话吗？就是他对你们如同对儿女那样讲论的话：“我儿，你不可轻看主的管教；被他责备的时候，也不可丧气。

難道你們已經忘記那安慰的話嗎？就是他對你們如同對兒女那樣講論的話：「我兒，你不可輕看主的管教；被他責備的時候，也不可喪氣。

又忘勸爾之言、如諭子曰、吾子乎、主懲爾、勿輕視、受其譴、勿喪志、

爾不憶上帝、勸勉爾若子曰、子乎、主責爾、勿輕視、主譴爾、勿喪膽、

爾曹又遺忘勸爾如子之言曰、我子、主懲爾、勿藐視、主責爾、勿喪膽、

夫天主訓爾如子、爾豈已忘之乎？其言曰：『吾兒莫輕鍛鍊恩、受主懲責毋灰心；

And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says,“ My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,

Have you completely forgotten this word of hope? It speaks to you as a father to his children. It says,“ My son, think of the Lord’s training as important. Do not lose hope when he corrects you.

And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons?“ My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him.

And have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you as his children? He said,“ My child, don’t make light of the Lord’s discipline, and don’t give up when he corrects you.

And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: My son, do not take the Lord’s discipline lightly or lose heart when you are reproved by him,

And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:“ My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;

and ye have forgotten the exhortation which reasoneth with you as with sons, My son, regard not lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art reproved of him;

And you have forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons: My son, do not take the Lord’s discipline lightly or faint when you are reproved by Him,

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

And have you forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as sons?“ My son, do not scorn the Lord’s discipline or give up when he corrects you.

You have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children,“ My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;

My son, do not reject the discipline of the Lord Or loathe His rebuke,For whom the Lord loves He disciplines, Just as a father disciplines the son in whom he delights.

“ Behold, happy is the person whom God disciplines, So do not reject the discipline of the Almighty.For He inflicts pain, and gives relief; He wounds, but His hands also heal.

Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent.

But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord so that we will not be condemned along with the world.

Blessed is the man whom You discipline, Lord, And whom You teach from Your Law,

For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin;

Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

The Lord has disciplined me severely, But He has not turned me over to death.

My life is continually in my hand, Yet I do not forget Your Law.

we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing;persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed;

“ Only be careful for yourself and watch over your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your sons and your grandsons.Remember the day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, when the Lord said to me,‘ Assemble the people to Me, that I may have them hear My words so that they may learn to fear Me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.’

I have certainly heard Ephraim grieving,‘ You have disciplined me, and I was corrected, Like an untrained calf; Bring me back that I may be restored, For You are the Lord my God.

I know, Lord, that Your judgments are righteous, And that You have afflicted me in faithfulness.

And the anger of the Lord burned against Uzzah, and God struck him down there for his irreverence; and he died there by the ark of God.Then David became angry because of the Lord’s outburst against Uzzah; and that place has been called Perez uzzah to this day.So David was afraid of the Lord that day; and he said,“ How can the ark of the Lord come to me?”And David was unwilling to move the ark of the Lord into the city of David with him; but David took it aside to the house of Obed edom, the Gittite.

and he said to them,“ You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites; consecrate yourselves, you and your relatives, so that you may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel to the place that I have prepared for it.Because you did not carry it at the first, the Lord our God made an outburst against us, since we did not seek Him according to the ordinance.”

Lord, do not rebuke me in Your anger, Nor discipline me in Your wrath.Be gracious to me, Lord, for I am frail; Heal me, Lord, for my bones are horrified.

I shall delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. Gimel

And Joshua said,“ Oh, Lord God! Why did You ever bring this people across the Jordan, only to hand us over to the Amorites, to eliminate us? If only we had been willing to live beyond the Jordan!O Lord, what can I say since Israel has turned their back before their enemies?For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land will hear about it, and they will surround us and eliminate our name from the earth. And what will You do for Your great name?”So the Lord said to Joshua,“ Stand up! Why is it that you have fallen on your face?Israel has sinned, and they have also violated My covenant which I commanded them. My son, do not forget my teaching, But have your heart comply with my commandments;

“ For has anyone said to God,‘ I have endured punishment; I will not offend anymore;

It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?

And He has said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee,

Acquire wisdom! Acquire understanding! Do not forget nor turn away from the words of my mouth.

Though I have become like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget Your statutes.

And they remembered His words,

When they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, because the oxen nearly overturned it.But the anger of the Lord burned against Uzza, so He struck him because he had put out his hand toward the ark; and he died there before God.Then David became angry because of the Lord’s outburst against Uzza; and he called that place Perez uzza as it is to this day.David was afraid of God that day, saying,“ How can I bring the ark of God home to me?”So David did not take the ark with him to the city of David, but took it aside to the house of Obed edom the Gittite.

Do you not yet understand nor remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets you picked up?Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many large baskets you picked up?
