Indeed, so terrifying was the sight that Moses said,“ I tremble with fear.”

那情景實在可怕，就連摩西也說：「我嚇得發抖。」

當時，顯出的景象是那麼可怕，連摩西也說：“我非常恐懼戰兢。”

並且所顯現的是這麼可怕，以致摩西說：我非常畏懼而戰兢』。

那景象實在可怕，連摩西也說：「我非常害怕戰兢。」

且所見者可畏之甚、致摩西云、我悚懼戰慄、

所見可畏、摩西曰、吾恐懼戰慄、

且所見者、可畏之甚、致摩西云、我恐懼戰慄、

摩西亦曰：『吾不勝恐懼戰慄。』其所見之可怖、可想而知矣。

The sight was so terrifying that Moses said,“ I am trembling with fear.”

In fact, the scene was so terrifying that Moses said,“ I shudder with fear.”

So fearful was the appearance that Moses said,“ I am terrified and trembling.”

On the morning of the third day there were thunders and lightnings and a thick cloud on the mountain and a very loud trumpet blast, so that all the people in the camp trembled.

And as the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him in thunder.

My flesh trembles for fear of you, and I am afraid of your judgments.

How can my lord’s servant talk with my lord? For now no strength remains in me, and no breath is left in me.”

For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure that the Lord bore against you, so that he was ready to destroy you. But the Lord listened to me that time also.

And one called to another and said:“ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!”And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.And I said:“ Woe is me! For I am lost; for I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”

So I was left alone and saw this great vision, and no strength was left in me. My radiant appearance was fearfully changed, and I retained no strength.

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying,“ Fear not, I am the first and the last,
