因著信，以諾被接去而沒有經歷死亡，人也找不到他，因為神把他接去了。原來他被接去以前，已經蒙神喜悅而受到讚許。

以諾有信、不死而接於天、為上帝所接、後人不復見之、未接之先、見悅於上帝、而獲嘉許、

以諾有信、得不死而接於天、天主既接之、人不復見之、未接之先、已得見悅於天主之證、

伊諾被攝昇天、未嘗見死、蓋「天主攝之、人間無得而再遇、」是亦信德之效也。何則、彼於被攝之前、固已得見悅於天主之明證。

By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death:“ He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

Enoch had faith. So he was taken from this life. He didn’t die.“ He couldn’t be found, because God had taken him away.”( Genesis 5:24) Before God took him, Enoch was praised as one who pleased God.

By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God.

It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying—“ he disappeared, because God took him.” For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God.

以諾活到六十五歲時，生了瑪土撒拉。以諾生了瑪土撒拉之後，與神同行三百年，並且生了其他的兒女。這樣以諾一生活了三百六十五年。以諾與神同行；後來他不在地上了，因為神把他接去。

誰能存活而不見死亡呢？誰能救自己的靈魂脫離陰間的權勢呢？細拉

我確確實實地告訴你們：人如果遵守我的話語，就絕不見死亡，直到永遠。」猶太人說：「現在我們知道你是有鬼魔附身的。亞伯拉罕死了，先知們也死了，你還說『人如果遵守我的話語，就絕不會嘗到死的滋味，直到永遠。』

沒有信，就不可能蒙神喜悅，因為來到神面前的人，必須相信神存在，並且相信他報償那些尋求他的人。

亞當的第七代子孫以諾也曾預言這些人，說：「看哪，主帶著他的千萬聖者來臨，

來自各民族、各支派、各語言群體和各國家的人，都要觀看他們的屍體三天半，又不准人把他們的屍體安放在墳墓裡。住在地上的人都因他們的死而歡喜、慶祝，並且要彼此送禮，因為這兩位先知曾使住在地上的人受痛苦。可是三天半之後，有從神而來的生命氣息進入他們裡面，他們就站立起來了。於是強烈的恐懼臨到那些觀看他們的人。隨後，兩位先知聽見一個大聲音從天上傳來，對他們說：「上到這裡來！」他們就在雲中升到天上去了，他們的敵人也看見了。

拉邁是瑪土撒拉的兒子，瑪土撒拉是以諾的兒子，以諾是雅列的兒子，雅列是瑪勒列的兒子，瑪勒列是該南的兒子，

因著信，我們明白宇宙是藉著神的話語形成的，從而明白那看得見的事是從看不見的事造出來的。因著信，亞伯向神獻上的祭物比該隱所獻的更好，就藉著信受到了讚許成為義人，因為神讚許他的禮物。他雖然死了，但藉著信仍然說話。

並且，屬肉體的人無法得到神的喜悅。但既然神的靈真是住在你們裡面，你們就不屬於肉體，而屬於聖靈了。不過如果有人沒有基督的靈，這個人就不屬於基督了。

相反，我們怎樣被神考驗而受了福音的委託，我們就照樣傳講；不是要討人的喜悅，而是要討神的喜悅——神是考驗我們內心的。
