Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”

只是义人必因信得生。他若退后，我心里就不喜欢他。”

属我的义人必靠信心而活。他若畏缩退后，我必不喜悦他。”

And,“ But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”

And,“ The one who is right with God will live by faith. And I am not pleased with the one who pulls back.”( Habakkuk 2:3, 4)

but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.”

And my righteous ones will live by faith. But I will take no pleasure in anyone who turns away.”

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,“ The just shall live by faith.”

But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for“ the just shall live by faith.”

“ Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.

I will hear what God the Lord will speak, For He will speak peace To His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly.

yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

Those who have turned back from following the Lord, And have not sought the Lord, nor inquired of Him.”

While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage.For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning.For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.But it has happened to them according to the true proverb:“ A dog returns to his own vomit,” and,“ a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.”

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.

For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.

“ But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die.

“ When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.Then he says,‘ I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.”

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit,and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him, In those who hope in His mercy.

“ Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand.

“ Who is there even among you who would shut the doors, So that you would not kindle fire on My altar in vain? I have no pleasure in you,” Says the Lord of hosts,“ Nor will I accept an offering from your hands.

For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, Nor shall evil dwell with You.

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

“ Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, And He will declare justice to the Gentiles.

“ Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they do not please God and are contrary to all men,
