一般司祭、雖朝朝束身奉事、而供獻千遍一律之祭祀、終不能脫吾人於罪累也。

Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins.

Every high priest is selected from among the people and is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. (niv)

“ This is what you are to offer on the altar regularly each day: two lambs a year old.Offer one in the morning and the other at twilight. (niv)

It will be the sacred portion of the land for the priests, who minister in the sanctuary and who draw near to minister before the Lord. It will be a place for their houses as well as a holy place for the sanctuary. (niv)

In this way present the food offering every day for seven days as an aroma pleasing to the Lord; it is to be offered in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering. (niv)
