所有天使、天主曾向誰云、爾坐於我右、待我使爾敵為爾足凳、

且天主亦何嘗謂一天神曰：『坐我之右、待我克爾之敵、以供爾之踐踏』乎？

To which of the angels did God ever say,“ Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”?

God never said to an angel,“ Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your control.”( Psalm 110:1)

The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.”

‘ The Lord said to my Lord, Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies beneath your feet.’

For Christ must reign until he humbles all his enemies beneath his feet.And the last enemy to be destroyed is death.

For David himself never ascended into heaven, yet he said,‘ The Lord said to my Lord,“ Sit in the place of honor at my right handuntil I humble your enemies, making them a footstool under your feet.”’“ So let everyone in Israel know for certain that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, to be both Lord and Messiah!”

For David himself, speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, said,‘ The Lord said to my Lord, Sit in the place of honor at my right hand until I humble your enemies beneath your feet.’

But our High Priest offered himself to God as a single sacrifice for sins, good for all time. Then he sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand.There he waits until his enemies are humbled and made a footstool under his feet.

I will clothe his enemies with shame, but he will be a glorious king.”

The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.

But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, gazed steadily into heaven and saw the glory of God, and he saw Jesus standing in the place of honor at God’s right hand.

Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war.His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself.He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God.The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses.From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. Gather together for the great banquet God has prepared.Come and eat the flesh of kings, generals, and strong warriors; of horses and their riders; and of all humanity, both free and slave, small and great.”Then I saw the beast and the kings of the world and their armies gathered together to fight against the one sitting on the horse and his army.And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who did mighty miracles on behalf of the beast— miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue. Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.Their entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came from the mouth of the one riding the white horse. And the vultures all gorged themselves on the dead bodies.

You will capture all your enemies. Your strong right hand will seize all who hate you.You will throw them in a flaming furnace when you appear. The Lord will consume them in his anger; fire will devour them.

When they brought them out, Joshua told the commanders of his army,“ Come and put your feet on the kings’ necks.” And they did as they were told.

And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.

“ I have been treading the winepress alone; no one was there to help me. In my anger I have trampled my enemies as if they were grapes. In my fury I have trampled my foes. Their blood has stained my clothes.For the time has come for me to avenge my people, to ransom them from their oppressors.I was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed. So I myself stepped in to save them with my strong arm, and my wrath sustained me.I crushed the nations in my anger and made them stagger and fall to the ground, spilling their blood upon the earth.”

And as for these enemies of mine who didn’t want me to be their king— bring them in and execute them right here in front of me.’”

For David himself wrote in the book of Psalms:‘ The Lord said to my Lord, Sit in the place of honor at my right hand
