For thus says the Lord of hosts: Yet once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land.

“ This is what the Lord Almighty says:‘ In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.

The Lord says,“ In a little while I will shake the heavens and the earth once more. I will also shake the ocean and the dry land.

“ For this is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: In just a little while I will again shake the heavens and the earth, the oceans and the dry land.

For the LORD of Armies says this:“ Once more, in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.

For this is what the Lord of armies says:‘ Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land.

“ For thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ Once more( it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land;

For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

For the Lord of Hosts says this:“ Once more, in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it[ is] a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry[ land];

Moreover, the LORD who rules over all says:‘ In just a little while I will once again shake the sky and the earth, the sea and the dry ground.

For this is what Yahweh of Armies says:‘ Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, the earth, the sea, and the dry land;

For in a very little while my fury will come to an end, and my anger will be directed to their destruction.

At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised,“ Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”This phrase,“ Yet once more,” indicates the removal of things that are shaken— that is, things that have been made— in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain.Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,

“ And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves,people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

“ But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light,and the stars will be falling from heaven, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke;

For,“ Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay;

Is it not yet a very little while until Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be regarded as a forest?

I looked on the earth, and behold, it was without form and void; and to the heavens, and they had no light.I looked on the mountains, and behold, they were quaking, and all the hills moved to and fro.I looked, and behold, there was no man, and all the birds of the air had fled.I looked, and behold, the fruitful land was a desert, and all its cities were laid in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.

“ Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there.

“ And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke.The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls.

The fish of the sea and the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the field and all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all the people who are on the face of the earth, shall quake at my presence. And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground.

And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say,“ Come!”And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say,“ Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand.And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying,“ A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say,“ Come!”And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne.They cried out with a loud voice,“ O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood,and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale.The sky vanished like a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains,calling to the mountains and rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,for the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?”

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while and the time of her harvest will come.”

All the host of heaven shall rot away, and the skies roll up like a scroll. All their host shall fall, as leaves fall from the vine, like leaves falling from the fig tree.

“ Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I am about to shake the heavens and the earth,and to overthrow the throne of kingdoms. I am about to destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations, and overthrow the chariots and their riders. And the horses and their riders shall go down, every one by the sword of his brother.

Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and threw it on the earth, and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them.The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth. And a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from the water, because it had been made bitter.The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light might be darkened, and a third of the day might be kept from shining, and likewise a third of the night.

The Lord roars from Zion, and utters his voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth quake. But the Lord is a refuge to his people, a stronghold to the people of Israel.

For three and a half days some from the peoples and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb,
