耶和華的話再次臨到約拿，說：“起來！到尼尼微大城去，向其中的居民宣告我所吩咐你的話。”

萬軍之耶和華說：“這殿宇後來的榮耀，必大過先前的榮耀。”萬軍之耶和華說：“在這地方，我必賜下平安。”

基達的羊群都必聚集到你那裡，尼拜約的公羊要供你使用；牠們必獻在我的祭壇上，成為蒙悅納的祭品。我要榮耀我榮耀的殿。

應當結出果子來，與悔改的心相稱。你們心裡不要以為：‘我們有亞伯拉罕作我們的祖宗。’我告訴你們，神能從這些石頭中給亞伯拉罕興起後裔來。

黎巴嫩的榮耀必來歸你，就是松樹、杉樹和黃楊樹，都一起歸你，為要裝飾我聖所之地，我也要使我踏足之處得榮耀。
