你们撒的种多，收的却少；你们吃，却不得饱；喝，却不得足；穿衣服，却不得暖；得工钱的，将工钱装在破漏的囊中。”

You have planted much, but harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.”

You have planted many seeds. But the crops you have gathered are small. So you eat. But you never have enough. You drink. But you are never full. You put on your clothes. But you are not warm. You earn your pay. But it will not buy everything you need.”

You have sown much, and harvested little. You eat, but you never have enough; you drink, but you never have your fill. You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm. And he who earns wages does so to put them into a bag with holes.

You have planted much but harvest little. You eat but are not satisfied. You drink but are still thirsty. You put on clothes but cannot keep warm. Your wages disappear as though you were putting them in pockets filled with holes!

歷時如是之久、人至穀堆、冀得二十、僅得其十、人至酒油、望得五十、僅得二十、

爾受詛矣、蓋舉國行竊於我也、萬軍之耶和華曰、其輸什一、悉歸府庫、俾我室中有糧、以此試我、是否為爾啟天之牖、傾福於爾、無地可容、我將為爾責吞噬者、俾不壞爾土產、爾田間之葡萄、不先期而隕、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

爾望多而得少、攜之而歸、我則噓之、萬軍之耶和華曰、此何故耶、因我室荒涼、爾各亟於己室也、

彼眾所播者風、所穫者颶風、無有禾稼、其莖不實、即實、亦為外人所吞、

爾之田畝、播種則多、獲實則少、蝗食故也、植葡萄園而治之、不收其果、不飲其酒、蟲食故也、四境有橄欖樹、不以其油膏身、果隕故也、

彼將食而不飽、淫而不育、因其棄耶和華、而不從之、

田畝荒蕪、土地愁慘、蓋五穀已毀、新酒已罄、新油已匱、農夫歟、爾其慚怍、治葡萄者歟、爾其號咷、因麰麥小麥皆無、田穡俱敗也、葡萄樹枯槁、無花果衰殘、石榴椶樹㰋果、田間諸木、無不憔悴、人之喜樂、變為羞愧、祭司歟、爾其束麻而哀哭、奉事於壇者歟、爾其號咷、供役於我上帝者歟、其來衣麻、終夜而臥、蓋素祭灌祭、不得入爾上帝室也、

爾將食而不飽、腹中空虛、雖遷爾賄、不得保存、即有保存、我必付之於刃、爾將播而不穫、踐橄欖不得沐其油、踐葡萄不得飲其酒、

萬軍之耶和華曰、我出此卷、使入盜賊之室、與指我名而妄誓者之室、恆處其中、而毀滅之、爰及木石、○

萬軍之耶和華曰、如爾不聽、不置於心、歸榮我名、我必降詛於爾、詛爾福祉、我已詛之、以爾不置於心也、

是日之前、人不得值、畜不得值、人之出入、緣敵而不得安、我使其眾彼此相攻故也、

曰、我指爾之上帝、維生之耶和華以誓、我無餅、惟餘一握之麵於罌、少許之油於瓶、今採薪二、歸而為我及子備之、食之而死、

大衛在位之時、饑饉歷三載、大衛諮諏耶和華、耶和華曰、緣掃羅及其流血之家、殺基遍人也、

當富有充裕時、必遭艱窘、困苦之人、咸加手於其身、

自我不焚香灌奠於天后、則無不缺乏、亡於鋒刃饑饉、

既絕餱糧、如折爾杖、十婦炊餅於一爐、權之以給、爾得食而不飽、○

其家產過而不留、消亡於上帝震怒之日、

爾徒力作、田無所產、樹不結實、

葡萄園三十畝、將產酒一罷特、穀種一賀梅爾、僅產穀一伊法、

又曰、人子歟、我必絕耶路撒冷所恃之糧、民必權餅以食而驚駭、量水以飲而恐惶、使之乏糧與水、互相驚駭、消亡於罪、

我於諸邑中、使爾齒淨、各地乏食、然爾猶不歸我、耶和華言之矣、穫前三月、我禁厥雨、惟雨此邑、不雨彼邑、一田得雨、他田無雨、則枯槁焉、如是、二三邑之民、踉蹌而行、至他邑求水、飲之而不足、然爾猶不歸我、耶和華言之矣、我以炎風毒黴之災擊爾、諸菜圃與葡萄園、無花果與橄欖樹、為蟿螽所食、然爾猶不歸我、耶和華言之矣、

沃壤為鹵地、皆因居民之罪兮、

地不得雨、土壤燥裂、耕者含羞、而蒙其首、
