你们盼望丰收，结果收的很少；你们把收成带回家，我却把它们吹走。这是什么缘故？万军之耶和华告诉你们，‘因为你们都忙于建自家的房子，任由我的殿一片废墟。

他们种的是风，收的是暴风。他们的庄稼长不出穗子，结不出籽粒，就是有收成，也要被外族人吃掉。

“你们种的多，却收的少，因为庄稼必被蝗虫吃掉。“你们栽种、修剪葡萄园，却吃不到葡萄，也喝不到葡萄酒，因为葡萄必被虫子吃掉。“你们境内长满橄榄树，却没有橄榄油抹身，因为橄榄必未熟先落。

使你们吃却不得饱足，行淫却不得后代。因为你们背弃耶和华，

田园荒废，遍地凄凉，五谷尽毁，再也没有新酒和油了。农夫啊，你们要忧伤！照料葡萄园的人啊，你们要哀号！因为田间的大麦和小麦全毁了。葡萄树枯死，无花果树凋残，石榴树、棕树、苹果树等田野的一切树木枯干。人间的欢乐消逝了。祭司啊，穿着丧服痛哭吧；在祭坛前事奉的人啊，要哀号；我上帝的仆人啊，要披上麻衣过夜；因为再无素祭和奠祭献到你们上帝的殿中了。

你吃，却吃不饱，仍然腹中空空。你聚敛钱财，却保不住。你保住的，我要交给拿刀的。你撒种，却不得收割；你榨橄榄，却无油抹身；你踩葡萄，却无酒可喝。

万军之耶和华说：“我要使这咒诅进入盗贼和奉我的名起假誓者的家，住在他们家里，毁灭他们的家，不留一木一石。”

万军之耶和华说：“如果你们不听从我的话，也不从内心尊崇我的名，我必使咒诅临到你们，把你们的福气变成咒诅。事实上，因为你们不把我的诫命放在心上，我已经咒诅了你们。

那日之前，人和牲畜都得不到工钱。在敌人的威胁下，人们出入没有平安。因为我使众人彼此为敌。

她说：“我凭你的上帝——永活的耶和华起誓，我没有饼，我坛里只有一把面，瓶里只有一点油。我来捡柴就是要回去做饼，与儿子吃完后，就只能等死了。”

在大卫执政期间，连续有三年饥荒，大卫就求问耶和华。耶和华说：“发生这饥荒是因为扫罗一家人的血债，他们杀害了基遍人。”

但自从我们停止向天后烧香奠酒后，我们便一无所有，不断有人死于战争和饥荒。”

我要断绝你们的粮源。那时候，十个妇女将用一个烤炉烤饼，按定量分饼给你们，你们吃却吃不饱。

在上帝发烈怒的日子，洪流将席卷他的家产。

你们劳作也是徒然，因为你们的土地必不长庄稼，果树也不结果实。

三十亩葡萄园只产二十升酒，二百公斤种子只产二十公斤粮食。”

又说：“人子啊，我要断绝耶路撒冷的粮源，叫他们焦虑地吃限量的饼，恐惧地喝限量的水。他们必缺粮少水，绝望地面面相觑，因自己的罪恶而灭亡。”
