我使平原山岡、不沾膏澤、五穀酒油、及大地之所播而生、人畜之所勞而得者、俱必匱乏、

我命干旱临到地土、山冈、五谷、新酒，和油，并地上的出产、人民、牲畜，以及人手一切劳碌得来的。”

I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the olive oil and everything else the ground produces, on people and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”

I ordered the rain not to fall on the fields and mountains. Then the ground did not produce any grain. There were not enough grapes to make fresh wine. The trees did not bear enough olives to make oil. People and cattle suffered. All your hard work failed.”

And I have called for a drought on the land and the hills, on the grain, the new wine, the oil, on what the ground brings forth, on man and beast, and on all their labors.”

I have called for a drought on your fields and hills— a drought to wither the grain and grapes and olive trees and all your other crops, a drought to starve you and your livestock and to ruin everything you have worked so hard to get.”

耶和華曰、爾雖勤勞、我使風暴五穀、細弱特甚、雨雹以毀傷之、爾猶不歸誠於我、

耶和華必使爾身勞、體瘧、氣熱、膚紅、亦使爾亡於刃、風暴五穀、細弱特甚、襲爾以災、迨爾翦滅。

基列之的庇人、以利亞告亞哈曰、我指所事以色列族之上帝耶和華而誓、今以後、數年間雨露不降、惟我言是聽。

有婦人焉、以利沙曾甦其子、今告之曰、耶和華命必使饑饉、臨於斯土、歷至七載、爾與爾家、必當遷徙、隨爾所適、

我作明宮於天、鑿幽谷於地、使海水泛濫於天下、厥名耶和華。

耶和華復以一事示予、以火罰民、深淵悉涸、所得之地、成焦土焉。

主所福、誰能禍之、主所禍、誰能福之、其待人或一國、或匹夫、無二理也。

維彼人斯、聞予嗟嘆、不加慰藉、敵聞爾降災於予、反增喜色、爾已定命、降災於彼、與余無異言、必有應兮。

今當求我、我造昴參諸宿、變陰翳為光明、轉白晝為昏夜、使海水泛濫於地、我名耶和華。
