留我獨在、見此異象、其大無外、魂不附體、容貌失色、氣力盡廢、

耶利米以眾先知行惡、中心憂傷、筋骸震動、又得耶和華聖言傳示、有若醉人、迷眩於酒。

耶和華與、我聞爾所言、不勝驚懼、耶和華與、我今遭難爾勃然以興、著爾經綸、震怒之時、矜憫為懷、

我必使我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、率北方之眾、攻斯土之民、及四周鄰國、滅之殆盡、使見之者駭愕、皆作怨聲。不聞懽忭之言、新娶者及新婦之音、旋磨之聲不徹於外、燈火之光不耀於內、我使之然。四方列國必致荒蕪、使人駭愕、惟彼億兆、服事巴比倫王、歷七十年。

爾常言、嗚呼、耶和華增我憂愁、恐懼歔欷、不獲平康。惟我耶和華告爾、曰、昔予建造斯邦、加以栽植、後必殲滅、拔其根株、爾勿為己圖維大事、蓋我耶和華必降災於億兆、惟爾隨在可往、得救生命、我使之然。

余寅畏爾、至於戰栗、爾之法度、必敬必恪兮。○

耶利米曰、哀哉我母、何為產我、為通國之人所攻、我未貸眾以金、眾未貸我以金、藉權子母、而人莫不詛予。耶和華曰、我必釋爾、雖罹災害、必使敵善待爾。

彼禱余、我垂聽之、彼遭難、我眷祐之、以手援之、俾得尊榮兮、

耶和華兮、人為爾加以譴責、訓以律法者、必蒙福祉兮、如遭患難、爾錫以平康、惟作惡之人、爾投於坎阱兮、

耶和華曰、試觀異邦人、殊可駭異、當爾之時、吾將有所為、雖有人告爾、爾亦不信、我將使迦勒底人振興、殘忍疾作、遍行天下、強據邦國、其威可畏、聽訟之時、獨斷獨行、彼之驍騎、行疾於豹、趨迅於狼、狼夜出、其暴更甚、乘者遠來、橫行四方、迅速若鷹、吞噬其所得、其色甚厲、若東風驟起、既至斯土、強據人民、所獲俘囚、有若海沙、藐視君王、姍笑牧伯、譏嘲城邑、築土壘而下之、精神倍長、向前遄征、復獲罪於耶和華、自謂其上帝所助。

上帝至公、人苦爾者、報之以苦、爾受其苦、則報爾安、與我儕共享、迨主耶穌偕其有能之使、由天昭著、不識上帝、不服吾主耶穌基督福音者、以火爇而譴責之、其必受刑永苦、被逐於主前、不得覲其耿光、

我民宜入室闔門、暫匿其身、待患難之過、越在疇昔、人殺選民、瘞埋其血、今必昭然顯露、蓋耶和華勃興、降罰於世、以彰厥罪焉。

耶和華必使遠民、如鷹之飛、來自地極。攻擊爾曹、其方言爾不之識、其容強悍、不眷顧耆老、不矜恤幼稚。爾畜之所生、爾土之所產、俱必並吞、爾穀與酒及油、暨牛羊之所息、取之殆盡、迨爾危亡。於爾上帝耶和華所錫之地、四境之內、城垣鞏固、高聳特甚、爾恃之以無恐、必見圍於敵、攻而下之。

是時巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒征猶大、約雅金臣服三年、後復謀叛、耶和華遂使迦勒底軍、亞蘭軍、摩押軍、亞捫軍、滅猶大、應耶和華命厥僕諸先知之言、

耶和華之神、大感於予、遊於象外、我心激烈、意甚惻怛、

我但以理喪失其魂、致染疾病、久之始愈、然後起立、而務王事、我以所見之異象、不勝駭愕、識其兆者、迄無一人。
