They sweep past like the wind and are gone. But they are deeply guilty, for their own strength is their god.”

他以自己的势力为神，像风猛然扫过，显为有罪。”

那时，他如风猛然扫过，他背叛，显为有罪；他以自己的力量为神明。

那时，他如风猛然扫过，他背叛，显为有罪；他以自己的力量为神明。

他们如狂风横扫而过，这些有罪的人把自己的力量奉为神明。”

然后扫荡如风吹过。他们是有罪的，因他们以自己的势力为神。

他以自己的勢力為神，像風猛然掃過，顯為有罪。

然後風一掃，他們就過去、而有罪！嘿，這就是他們的勢力，他們所看為神的！

彼以己力為神、其衝突也、若風飄過、致干罪戾、

精神倍長、向前遄征、復獲罪於耶和華、自謂其上帝所助。

於是其心尤為狂傲、前驅造孽、以勢力為神、

Then they sweep past like the wind and go on— guilty people, whose own strength is their god.”

They sweep past like the wind. Then they go on their way. They are guilty. They worship their own strength.”

Then they sweep by like the wind and go on, guilty men, whose own might is their god!”

Then they sweep by like the wind and pass through. They are guilty; their strength is their god.

Then they fly along like the wind and pass on. But they will be held guilty, They whose strength is their god.”

Then his mind changes, and he transgresses; He commits offense, Ascribing this power to his god.”

Then shall he sweep by as a wind, and shall pass over, and be guilty, even he whose might is his god.

Then they sweep by like the wind and pass through. They are guilty; their strength is their god.

Then shall[ his] mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend,[ imputing] this his power unto his god.

They sweep by like the wind and pass on. But the one who considers himself a god will be held guilty.”

Then he sweeps by like the wind, and goes on. He is indeed guilty, whose strength is his god.”

The time is coming when the Lord will say to the people of Jerusalem,“ My dear people, a burning wind is blowing in from the desert, and it’s not a gentle breeze useful for winnowing grain.It is a roaring blast sent by me! Now I will pronounce your destruction!”

So they brought these gold cups taken from the Temple, the house of God in Jerusalem, and the king and his nobles, his wives, and his concubines drank from them.While they drank from them they praised their idols made of gold, silver, bronze, iron, wood, and stone.

But when his heart and mind were puffed up with arrogance, he was brought down from his royal throne and stripped of his glory.

As he looked out across the city, he said,‘ Look at this great city of Babylon! By my own mighty power, I have built this beautiful city as my royal residence to display my majestic splendor.’“ While these words were still in his mouth, a voice called down from heaven,‘ O King Nebuchadnezzar, this message is for you! You are no longer ruler of this kingdom.You will be driven from human society. You will live in the fields with the wild animals, and you will eat grass like a cow. Seven periods of time will pass while you live this way, until you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world and gives them to anyone he chooses.’“ That same hour the judgment was fulfilled, and Nebuchadnezzar was driven from human society. He ate grass like a cow, and he was drenched with the dew of heaven. He lived this way until his hair was as long as eagles’ feathers and his nails were like birds’ claws.“ After this time had passed, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven. My sanity returned, and I praised and worshiped the Most High and honored the one who lives forever. His rule is everlasting, and his kingdom is eternal.
