於是其心尤為狂傲、前驅造孽、以勢力為神、

他以自己的势力为神，像风猛然扫过，显为有罪。”

那时，他如风猛然扫过，他背叛，显为有罪；他以自己的力量为神明。

彼以己力為神、其衝突也、若風飄過、致干罪戾、

精神倍長、向前遄征、復獲罪於耶和華、自謂其上帝所助。

Then they sweep past like the wind and go on— guilty people, whose own strength is their god.”

Then they sweep by like the wind and go on, guilty men, whose own might is their god!”

Then his mind changes, and he transgresses; He commits offense, Ascribing this power to his god.”

當是時必告斯民及耶路撒冷人曰、炎熇之風、自曠野童山向我民而吹、非為簸揚、非為潔禾、我使此風為我而至、較簸揚潔禾之風尤大、今我將審判之、

於是以其金銀器皿、自耶路撒冷天主之殿中所取者、攜之至、王與大臣及妃嬪、遂以之飲酒、眾飲酒、讚美金銀銅鐵木石所造諸神、

既心驕氣傲、剛愎自用、乃黜王位、去其尊榮、

我尼布甲尼撒王曰、此巴比倫大城、非我用大能建為王都、以顯我榮者乎、我尼布甲尼撒王口中言未竟、自天有聲曰、尼布甲尼撒王、告爾有命、爾將失國、眾必逐爾不與人偕居、使與野獸同居、食草若牛、如此歷七期、使爾知至上者、主掌人間之國、隨意以國賜人、即時此言應於我尼布甲尼撒王之身、被逐不與人偕居、食草若牛、為天降之露所濕、首髮長若鷹毛、指甲長若鳥爪、時日已滿、我尼布甲尼撒舉目仰天、靈性靈性或作靈慧下同復歸於我、遂祝謝至上者、讚揚頌美永生者、其權永世恆存、其國至於世世、
