“可是她们去买的时候，新郎就来了。那些预备好了的，与新郎一同进去赴婚宴，门就关上了。

住在至高者隐秘处的，将安居在全能者的荫庇下。我要对耶和华说：“我的避难所、我的要塞、我的神，我依靠你！”是的，他必解救你脱离捕鸟人的网罗，脱离致命的瘟疫；他必用自己的羽翼遮盖你，你要投靠在他的翅膀底下；他的信实是盾牌和壁垒。你必不怕夜间的恐惧，或是白天飞来的箭；也不怕幽暗中流行的瘟疫，或是正午毁灭人的病毒。即使千人仆倒在你旁边，万人仆倒在你右边，灾祸也不会接近你。你只要用眼观看，就会看到恶人的报应。因为你把耶和华——至高者、我的避难所——当作你的居所，恶事必不会发生在你身上，疾患也不会靠近你的帐篷；

这样你就会安然行路，你的脚也不会跌跌撞撞；

因此我们不害怕——即使大地变动，群山动摇陷入海中；

你们藉着信，在神的大能中蒙保守，以至于那预备好要在末世显现的救恩。

我的羊听我的声音，我也认识他们，他们也跟着我；并且我赐给他们永恒的生命，他们绝不会灭亡，直到永远。谁也不能把他们从我手中夺走。我父，就是把他们赐给我的那一位，他比一切更大。谁也不能把他们从我父的手中夺走。我与父是一体的。”
