“当糊涂的伴娘去买油的时候，新郎来了。那些预备好的伴娘跟他一同进去参加婚宴，门就关了。

当主人起来把门关闭之后，你们才站在外面叩门哀求，说，‘主啊，给我们开门吧！’主人必说，‘我不认识你们，你们是从哪里来的？’

洁净的动物，你要每样带七公七母，不洁净的动物每样带一公一母，飞鸟每样带七公七母，叫它们以后可以在地上繁衍后代。

安居在至高者隐秘处的人，必蒙全能者的荫庇。我要对耶和华说：“你是我的避难所，我的堡垒，是我所信靠的上帝。”祂必救你脱离猎人的网罗和致命的瘟疫。祂必用祂的羽毛遮盖你，用祂的双翼保护你，祂的信实是你的盾牌和壁垒。你必不惧怕黑夜的恐怖，或白日的飞箭，或黑暗中横行的瘟疫，或正午肆虐的灾难。尽管千人扑倒在你左边，万人扑倒在你右边，你必安然无恙。你必亲眼目睹恶人受惩罚。因为你以至高者耶和华——我的避难所作你的居所，祸患不会临到你身上，灾难不会靠近你的住处。

然后回家关上门，你和你儿子在屋里把那瓶油倒在所有借来的器皿中，装满的放在一边。”于是，妇人辞别以利沙，回去后把自己和儿子关在屋里，儿子递给她器皿，她就倒油。

亘古的上帝是你的庇护，祂永恒的臂膀是你的依托。祂赶走你面前的仇敌，下令毁灭他们。

如此，你必步履稳健，不致失足；

因此，任大地震动，群山沉入深海；

你们这些因信而蒙上帝用大能保守的人，必能得到那已经预备好、在末世要显明的救恩。

我的羊听我的声音，我也认识他们，他们也跟随我。我要赐他们永生，他们永不灭亡。没有人能从我的手里把他们抢走。我父把羊赐给我，祂比万物都大，没有人能从祂手中把羊抢走。我和父本为一。”
