On that very day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, together with his wife and the wives of his three sons, entered the ark.

耶和華諭挪亞曰、爾與眷屬、可入方舟、蓋於斯世、我視爾為義也、

雅弗兄閃亦生子、閃為希伯全族之祖、

挪亞子出方舟者、即閃、含、雅弗、含生迦南、由挪亞三子、人民遍滿於地、○

挪亞以信而得示以未見之事、寅畏而備方舟、以救其家、由此而罪世、且得依信之義也、

即昔之背逆者、上帝於挪亞備舟之日、恆忍以待之、時、由水得救者無幾、惟八人耳、

與其妻子及媳、俱入方舟以避之、畜之潔與不潔者、禽鳥及昆蟲、牝牡為偶、隨挪亞入舟、循上帝所命、
