上帝諭挪亞曰、凡有血氣者、厥期已盡、蓋其強暴遍滿於地、我將倂地而滅之、

上帝謂挪亞曰、緣世億兆、暴虐徧行、我必翦滅、使之云亡。○

天主謂挪亞曰、凡有血氣者將被我翦滅、因其強暴徧行、我將滅之於地、

So God said to Noah,“ I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.

And God said to Noah,“ I have determined to make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence through them. Behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

So God said to Noah,“ I have decided to destroy all living creatures, for they have filled the earth with violence. Yes, I will wipe them all out along with the earth!

Then God said to Noah,“ I have decided to put an end to every creature, for the earth is filled with wickedness because of them; therefore I am going to destroy them along with the earth.

Then God said to Noah,“ The end of humanity has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of people; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.

And God said to Noah,“ The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

萬物的結局近了。所以你們要謹慎自守，要警醒禱告。

「你，人子啊，主耶和華對以色列地如此說：結局，結局臨到了地的四境！現在你的結局已經來臨；我要使我的怒氣臨到你，也要按你的行為審判你，照你所做一切可憎的事懲罰你。我的眼必不顧惜你，也不可憐你，卻要按你所做的報應你，照你們中間可憎的事懲罰你；你就知道我是耶和華。「主耶和華如此說：災難，惟一的災難，看哪，臨近了！結局到了，結局到了，它要醒起來攻擊你。看哪，它已來到！

以色列人哪，當聽耶和華的話。耶和華指控這地的居民，因為在這地上無誠信，無慈愛，無人認識上帝；惟起誓、欺騙、殺害、偷盜、姦淫、殘暴、流血又流血。

但主的日子要像賊一樣來到；那日，天必在轟然一聲中消失，天體都要被烈火熔化，地和地上的萬物都要燒盡。既然這一切都要如此消失，你們處世為人必須聖潔敬虔，等候並催促上帝的日子來到。因為在那日，天要被火燒而消滅，天體都要被烈火熔化。

耶和華除滅了地面上各類的生物，包括人和牲畜、爬行動物，以及天空的飛鳥；他們就都從地上除滅了，只剩下挪亞和那些與他同在方舟裏的。

這地在上帝面前敗壞了，地上充滿了暴力。上帝觀看這地，看哪，它敗壞了，因為凡血肉之軀在地上的行為都敗壞了。

西緬和利未是兄弟；他們的刀劍是殘暴的兵器。

他說：「阿摩司，你看見甚麼？」我說：「一筐夏天的果子。」耶和華對我說：「我子民以色列的結局到了，我必不再寬恕他們。

我觀看地，看哪，地是空虛混沌；我觀看天，天也無光。我觀看大山，看哪，盡都震動，小山也都搖來搖去。我觀看，看哪，無人；空中的飛鳥也都躲避。我觀看，看哪，肥田變為荒地；所有城鎮在耶和華面前，因他的烈怒都被拆毀。耶和華如此說：「全地必然荒涼，我卻不毀滅淨盡。因此，地要悲哀，天上也必黑暗；因為我言已出，我意已定，必不改變，也不由此轉回。」

那時候有巨人在地上，後來也有；上帝的兒子們和人的女子們交合，生了孩子。那些人就是古代的勇士，有名的人物。

住在眾水之上多有財寶的啊，你的結局已到！你貪婪之量已滿盈！

藉着水，當時的世界被水淹沒而消滅了。但現在的天地還是憑着上帝的話存留，直留到不敬虔之人受審判遭沉淪的日子，用火焚燒。

因着信，挪亞既蒙上帝指示他未見的事，動了敬畏的心，造了方舟，使他全家得救。藉此他定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那從信而來的義。
