當謂約瑟曰、昔諸昆惡待於爾、請宥諸昆之罪、我儕為汝父上帝之僕、請赦我過、言間、約瑟哭焉、

昔諸昆仲、待汝不善、吾今令爾宥其過、惟我儕為汝父上帝之僕、請赦我罪、約瑟聞言而哭。

當如是語約瑟云、昔爾諸兄待爾不善、我命爾赦其過、宥其罪、我儕為爾父之天主之僕、今求赦我罪、諸兄向約瑟言之、約瑟哭、

‘ This is what you are to say to Joseph: I ask you to forgive your brothers the sins and the wrongs they committed in treating you so badly.’ Now please forgive the sins of the servants of the God of your father.” When their message came to him, Joseph wept.

He said,‘ Here’s what you must say to Joseph. Tell him,“ I’m asking you to forgive your brothers. Forgive the terrible things they did to you. Forgive them for treating you so badly.” ’ Now then, please forgive our sins. We serve the God of your father.” When their message came to Joseph, he wept.

‘ Say to Joseph,“ Please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, because they did evil to you.”’ And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

to say to you:‘ Please forgive your brothers for the great wrong they did to you— for their sin in treating you so cruelly.’ So we, the servants of the God of your father, beg you to forgive our sin.” When Joseph received the message, he broke down and wept.

‘ Say this to Joseph: Please forgive your brothers’ transgression and their sin— the suffering they caused you.’ Therefore, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when their message came to him.

‘ This is what you shall say to Joseph:“ Please forgive, I beg you, the offense of your brothers and their sin, for they did you wrong.” ’ And now, please forgive the offense of the servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

‘ Thus you shall say to Joseph:“ I beg you, please forgive the trespass of your brothers and their sin; for they did evil to you.”’ Now, please, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the transgression of thy brethren, and their sin, for that they did unto thee evil. And now, we pray thee, forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.

‘ Say this to Joseph: Please forgive your brothers’ transgression and their sin— the suffering they caused you.’ Therefore, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when their message came to him.

So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray thee now, the trespass of thy brethren, and their sin; for they did unto thee evil: and now, we pray thee, forgive the trespass of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.

‘ Tell Joseph this: Please forgive the sin of your brothers and the wrong they did when they treated you so badly.’ Now please forgive the sin of the servants of the God of your father.” When this message was reported to him, Joseph wept.

‘ You shall tell Joseph,“ Now please forgive the disobedience of your brothers, and their sin, because they did evil to you.”’ Now, please forgive the disobedience of the servants of the God of your father.” Joseph wept when they spoke to him.

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (niv)

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (niv)

When the ten heard about this, they became indignant with James and John. (niv)

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (niv)

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. (niv)

“ The King will reply,‘ Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (niv)

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (niv)

Then Joseph said to his brothers,“ Come close to me.” When they had done so, he said,“ I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt!And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you. (niv)

“ So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt. (niv)

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. (niv)

So watch yourselves.“ If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them.Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying‘ I repent,’ you must forgive them.” (niv)

because of your father’s God, who helps you, because of the Almighty, who blesses you with blessings of the skies above, blessings of the deep springs below, blessings of the breast and womb. (niv)

They said to one another,“ Surely we are being punished because of our brother. We saw how distressed he was when he pleaded with us for his life, but we would not listen; that’s why this distress has come on us.”Reuben replied,“ Didn’t I tell you not to sin against the boy? But you wouldn’t listen! Now we must give an accounting for his blood.”They did not realize that Joseph could understand them, since he was using an interpreter.He turned away from them and began to weep, but then came back and spoke to them again. He had Simeon taken from them and bound before their eyes. (niv)

Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. (niv)

And they will go to others and say,‘ I have sinned, I have perverted what is right, but I did not get what I deserved.God has delivered me from going down to the pit, and I shall live to enjoy the light of life.’ (niv)

Therefore, although in Christ I could be bold and order you to do what you ought to do,yet I prefer to appeal to you on the basis of love. It is as none other than Paul— an old man and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus—that I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, who became my son while I was in chains.Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me.I am sending him— who is my very heart— back to you.I would have liked to keep him with me so that he could take your place in helping me while I am in chains for the gospel.But I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that any favor you do would not seem forced but would be voluntary.Perhaps the reason he was separated from you for a little while was that you might have him back forever—no longer as a slave, but better than a slave, as a dear brother. He is very dear to me but even dearer to you, both as a fellow man and as a brother in the Lord.So if you consider me a partner, welcome him as you would welcome me.If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me.I, Paul, am writing this with my own hand. I will pay it back— not to mention that you owe me your very self.I do wish, brother, that I may have some benefit from you in the Lord; refresh my heart in Christ. (niv)

“ This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother or sister from your heart.” (niv)

Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed. (niv)

If the God of my father, the God of Abraham and the Fear of Isaac, had not been with me, you would surely have sent me away empty-handed. But God has seen my hardship and the toil of my hands, and last night he rebuked you.” (niv)
