Let me not enter their council, let me not join their assembly, for they have killed men in their anger and hamstrung oxen as they pleased.

I won’t share in their plans. I won’t have anything to do with them. They became angry and killed people. They cut the legs of oxen just for the fun of it.

Let my soul come not into their council; O my glory, be not joined to their company. For in their anger they killed men, and in their willfulness they hamstrung oxen.

May I never join in their meetings; may I never be a party to their plans. For in their anger they murdered men, and they crippled oxen just for sport.

求你不要把我的性命和罪人一同除掉，也不要把我的生命和流人血的人一起消灭。

求你把我隐藏，使我脱离恶人的阴谋，脱离作孽的人的扰乱。

义人的筹算是公平，恶人的计谋却是诡诈。

你们和不信的人不可共负一轭，义和不法有什么相同呢？光明和黑暗怎能相通呢？

“‘暗中杀害邻舍的，必受咒诅。’众民都要说：‘阿们。’

然后，我要对我的灵魂说：灵魂啊，你拥有许多好东西，足够多年享用，只管安安逸逸地吃喝快乐吧！’

我决不与奸诈的人同坐，也不和虚伪的人来往。我恨恶恶人的聚会，也不与作恶的同坐。

好让我的灵（“灵”或译：“荣耀”或“肝”；与16:9，57:8，108:1同）歌颂你，永不停止。耶和华我的神啊！我要永远称赞你。

有福的人：不从恶人的计谋，不站罪人的道路，不坐好讥笑的人的座位。

凭着律例制造奸恶，藉着权位行毁灭的，怎能和你相交呢？他们集结起来攻击义人，把无辜的人定了死罪。

我的肺腑，我的肺腑啊！我绞痛欲绝。我的心哪！我的心在我里面颤抖，我不能缄默不语。我的灵啊！我听见了号角的声音，也听见了战争的吶喊。

神啊！求你定他们的罪；愿他们因自己的诡计跌倒，愿你因他们许多的过犯，把他们赶出去，因为他们背叛了你。

到了第三天，他们正在疼痛的时候，雅各的两个儿子，就是底拿的哥哥西缅和利未拿着刀剑，趁着他们想不到的时候，进了那城，把所有的男子都杀了。又用刀剑杀了哈抹和他儿子示剑，然后从示剑的家里把底拿带走。

如果他们说：“你跟我们来吧！我们要埋伏流人的血，我们要无故地潜伏伤害无辜的人；

神啊！甚愿你杀戮恶人；你们流人血的啊，离开我去吧！

我儿，不可和他们走在一起，禁止你的脚走他们的路；因为他们的脚奔向邪恶，他们急于流人的血。

求你不要把我和坏人，跟作恶的人一同除掉；他们与邻居说平安的话，心里却存着奸恶。
