耶和华把他带到外面，说：“你向天观看，如果你能数清星辰，就去数吧！”又对他说：“你的后裔也必如此众多。”

但他的弓依然坚硬，他的手臂敏捷，这是出于雅各的大能者之手，出于以色列的牧者、以色列的磐石，出于你父亲的神，因他帮助你。全能者必把天上来的福、地下深渊蕴藏着的福、哺乳和生育的福，都赐给你。你父亲的祝福胜过我祖先的祝福，达到永世山岭的极限。愿这些祝福临到约瑟的头上，就是临到从兄弟中分别出来的那位的头顶。

“主啊，现在可以照你的话，让你的奴仆平平安安地离去，

雅各召来了他的儿子们，说：“你们要聚在一起，我好告诉你们日后将临到你们的事。
