有名字登記在天上眾長子的教會，有審判眾人的神，有被成全的義人的靈魂，

以撒年紀老邁，享盡天年，就氣絕而死，歸到他的親族那裡去了；他兒子以掃和雅各把他葬了。

照著所賜給我們的恩典，我們各有不同的恩賜：說預言的，就應當照著信心的程度去說；服事人的，就應當照著恩賜去服事；教導的，就應當照著恩賜教導；勸慰的，就應當照著恩賜勸慰；把財物分給人的要真誠；領導的要殷勤；行善的要樂意。愛，不可虛偽；惡，要厭惡；善，要持守。要以手足之愛彼此相親，用恭敬的心互相禮讓。殷勤不可懶惰，心靈要火熱，常常服事主；在盼望中要喜樂，在患難中要堅忍，禱告要恆切。聖徒有缺乏的，就要接濟；客旅要熱誠地款待。迫害你們的，要為他們祝福；只可祝福，不可咒詛。要與喜樂的人一同喜樂，與哀哭的人一同哀哭。要彼此同心，不可心高氣傲，倒要俯就卑微的。不可自以為聰明。不可以惡報惡。大家以為美的事，要努力去作。可能的話，總要盡你們的所能與人和睦。親愛的啊，不要為自己伸冤，寧可等候主的忿怒，因為經上記著，主說：“伸冤在我，我必報應。”相反地，“如果你的仇敵餓了，就給他吃；如果渴了，就給他喝。因為你這樣作，就是把炭火堆在他的頭上。”不可被惡所勝，反要以善勝惡。

亞伯拉罕壽高年老，享盡天年，氣絕而死，歸到他的先人那裡去了。他的兒子以撒和以實瑪利把他埋葬在麥比拉洞裡。這洞是在幔利前面，赫人瑣轄的兒子以弗崙的田間，就是亞伯拉罕從赫人那裡買來的那塊田。亞伯拉罕和他的妻子撒拉都埋葬在那裡。亞伯拉罕死後，神賜福給他的兒子以撒；那時，以撒住在庇耳．拉海．萊附近。以下是撒拉的婢女埃及人夏甲，給亞伯拉罕所生的兒子以實瑪利的後代。以實瑪利的眾子，按著他們的家譜，名字如下：以實瑪利的長子是尼拜約，其次是基達、押德別、米比衫、米施瑪、度瑪、瑪撒、哈達、提瑪、伊突、拿非施和基底瑪。這些都是以實瑪利的兒子。他們的村莊和營地都按著他們的名字命名；他們作了十二族的族長。以實瑪利一生的歲數，是一百三十七歲；他氣絕而死，歸到他的先人那裡去了。
