詔曰、王許各州諸邑之猶大人、於十二月、即亞達月十三日、一日之間咸集、自相扞衛、以保其生、殺戮翦滅各州作勢攻彼之人、使之隕亡、及厥婦孺、取其貨財、以為己有、

昔耶和華諭雅各曰、爾名以色列、以利亞循雅各裔支派之數、取石十二、

王謂后以斯帖、及猶大人末底改曰、哈曼欲害猶大人、被懸於木、我以其家賜以斯帖、

我十二支、日夜殷勤崇事、亦望獲此許耳、王乎、我為此望、為猶太人所訟、

三月即西彎月、二十三日、王之繕寫見召、從末底改所言書詔、傳於自印度至古實、百有二十七州之猶大人、以及大臣、方伯民長、依各州之文字、各族之方言、亦按猶大人之文字方言、

斯民之興也如牝獅、其動也如牡獅、未食被攫之物、不飲見殺之血、則不偃臥、○

十二月即亞達月、十三日、猶大人之仇、將行王之前詔、冀制猶大人、而反為猶大人所制、是日猶大人、集於亞哈隨魯王各州諸邑、殺戮欲害己者、莫能禦之、以諸族咸畏之也、州牧、大臣、方伯、暨從王事之百寮、畏末底改、助猶大人、蓋末底改尊於朝廷、名揚諸州、爵位日隆、猶大人以刃擊諸敵、殺戮之、翦滅之、凡憾之者、任意而待、在書珊城、猶大人殺五百人、又殺巴珊大他、達分、亞斯帕他、破拉他、亞大利雅、亞利大他、帕瑪斯他、亞利賽、亞利代、瓦耶撒他、此十人、乃哈米大他之孫、猶大人敵哈曼之子、惟不取其貨財、

我遂聞受印者之數、以色列裔各支中、計印者十四萬四千、○

寶石之數、循以色列諸子之名、凡十有二、用鐫印法、每寶石鐫一名、以當十二支派、

居彼時、流便烝父妾辟拉、事聞於以色列、○

上帝及主耶穌基督之僕雅各、請十二支之散處者安、

耶和華之日將至、爾物被掠、必在爾中分之、蓋我必集萬邦、與耶路撒冷戰、其城被取其室被刦、其女被玷、邑民之半、將為俘囚、其餘之民、則不見絕於邑中、維時、耶和華必出、與列邦戰、如昔日之戰焉、是日、其足立於耶路撒冷東之橄欖山、橄欖山必中裂、自東至西、成為巨谷、其山半移於北、半移於南、山谷延及亞薩、爾曹將循之而遁、若猶大王烏西雅時、因避地震而遁、我上帝耶和華必涖臨、諸聖者偕之、是日無光、明星斂曜、此乃唯一之日、為耶和華所知、非晝非夜、至暮有光、
