“祖先妒忌約瑟，把他賣到埃及去，然而神與他同在，

有些米甸的商人經過那裡，約瑟的哥哥們就把約瑟從枯井裡拉上來，以二十塊銀子把他賣給以實瑪利人。以實瑪利人就把約瑟帶到埃及去了。

他們必住在我所賜給我僕人雅各的地上，就是你們列祖所住的地。他們和他們的子孫，以及子孫的子孫，都必永遠住在那裡；我的僕人大衛必永遠作他們的領袖。我要與他們立平安的約，是一個永遠的約；我必堅立他們，使他們人數增多，又在他們中間設立我的聖所，直到永遠。

雖然大山可以挪開，小山可以遷移，但我的慈愛必不從你身上挪開，我和平的約也必不遷移；這是憐憫你的耶和華說的。

在他們之前，他差遣一個人去，就是被賣為奴的約瑟。人用腳鐐弄傷他的腳，他的頸項被鐵鍊鎖著，直到他的話應驗，耶和華的話為他證實的時候。王就派人去釋放他，統治眾民的把他釋放了。王立他執掌朝政，管理王一切所有的，使他可以隨意捆綁王的群臣，把智慧教導王的長老。

我們主耶穌基督的父神是應當稱頌的。他在基督裡，曾經把天上各種屬靈的福分賜給我們：

願全能的神賜福給你，使你繁衍增多，成為大族。願神把應許給亞伯拉罕的福，賜給你和你的後裔，使你可以得著你寄居的地為業，就是神賜給亞伯拉罕的。”

他的後裔必存到永遠，他的王位在我面前必像太陽長存，

他就上前和父親親吻；他父親一聞到他衣服的香氣，就給他祝福，說：“看哪，我兒子的香氣，好像蒙耶和華賜福的田地所發出的香氣一樣。願神賜給你天上的甘露，地上的沃土，以及大量五穀和美酒。願萬民服事你，願萬族向你下拜，願你作你兄弟的主人，願你母親的子孫向你下拜。咒詛你的，願他受咒詛；給你祝福的，願他蒙福。”

“你要告訴以色列人，對他們說：‘無論男女，如果許了特別的願，就是拿細耳人的願，就要離俗歸耶和華。
