瑪拿西原為長子、以色列交叉其臂、以右手按季子以法蓮首、以左手按瑪拿西首、

以色列伸出右手来，按在以法莲的头上，以法莲乃是次子，又剪搭过左手来，按在玛拿西的头上，玛拿西原是长子。

以色列却伸出右手来，按在次子以法莲的头上，又交叉伸出左手来，按在长子玛拿西的头上。

但以色列却两手交叉，把右手放在约瑟次子以法莲的头上，左手放在约瑟长子玛拿西的头上。

But Israel reached out his right hand and put it on Ephraim’s head, though he was the younger, and crossing his arms, he put his left hand on Manasseh’s head, even though Manasseh was the firstborn.

But Jacob crossed his arms as he reached out to lay his hands on the boys’ heads. He put his right hand on the head of Ephraim, though he was the younger boy, and his left hand on the head of Manasseh, though he was the firstborn.

約瑟名長子曰瑪拿西、瑪拿西譯即使忘之義蓋言天主使我忘昔之諸艱苦、及父之家、

時有人攜孩提就耶穌、欲耶穌按手其上而禱、門徒責之、

今我選利未人代以色列人中一切長子、

耶和華謂我主曰、爾坐於我右、待我使爾仇敵為爾足凳、

遂以手按之、婦即伸、頌讚天主、

二使徒以手按眾、皆受聖神、西門見使徒按手、即有聖神賜焉、乃獻之以金、曰、以此能予我、使我手所按者、亦受聖神、

約瑟謂父曰、父歟、非然、此乃長子、請按右手於其首、

日入時、凡家中有患病者、無論何病、咸攜之就耶穌、耶穌一一按手其上而醫之、

耶穌按手於其上、遂離彼而去、○

爾祈禱時、勿似偽善者、喜立於會堂及街衢而祈禱、故令人見、我誠告爾、彼已得其賞、

乃立此數人於使徒前、使徒祈禱、按手其上、

使利未人近於主前、以色列人當按手於其上、

約瑟在伊及時、安之祭司波提非拉女亞西納、從約瑟生子瑪拿西、以法蓮、

主之右手、施力顯榮、主之右手、擊破仇敵、

我又告爾、爾乃彼得、彼得譯即磐之義我即於此磐上、建我教會、而陰府之權、權原文作門不能勝之、

勿遽按手於人、或作勿輕為人行按手之禮勿與人共罪、當守己以潔、○

於是禁食祈禱、按手於二人頂上、而遣之往、

嫩之子約書亞因摩西曾按手於其首、故充以智慧之神、以色列人聽從之、遵主所諭摩西者而行、

爾所得之恩賜、即昔依預言在長老按手時所賜爾者、切勿輕忽、

主之右手高舉、主之右手施展大能、
