你看辦事敏捷的人吧；他必侍立於君王面前；他不侍立於微賤無名的人面前。

他們對法老說：『我們來、是要在這地寄居的，因為饑荒在迦南地很嚴重，那裏沒有牧場可以供給你僕人的羊羣：現在求王准僕人住在歌珊地。』

摩西從全以色列眾人中揀選了有才德的人，讓他們做人民的首領，做千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長。

正如你曾給他權柄管理一切血肉之人，使他可以將永生賜給你所給他的人。

所有的地不都在你面前麼？請離開我！你左，我就向右；你右，我就向左。』

那一天有一個做掃羅臣僕的人在那裏、有禮節上的抑制、留在永恆主面前；他名叫多益，是以東人，做掃羅的司牧長。

管理在沙崙牧放之牛羣的、是沙崙人施提賚；管理山谷中牛羣的是亞第賚的兒子沙法；管理駱駝的是以實瑪利人阿比勒；管理驢羣的是米崙人耶希底亞；管理羊羣的是夏甲人雅悉。以上這些人是大衛王活財物的管理主任。

摩西、亞倫取了燒窰的灰，站在法老面前；摩西把灰向天撒去，灰在人身上和牲口身上就成了帶膿起泡的瘡。

亞比米勒又說：『看哪，我的地都在你面前；你看哪裏好，就住在哪裏。』

他又在曠野建造了譙樓，挖了許多井，因為他有很多牲畜在低原和平原地方；在山地和園地他也有耕地的和修理葡萄園的人，因為他喜愛種地的事。

將你們父親和你們的眷屬帶到我這裏來；我要把埃及的美物賜給你們，你們要喫這地的肥美東西。我吩咐你，你們要這樣行，要從埃及地帶着車去，給幼小的和妻子坐，並將你們的父親載來。不可直瞪着顧惜你們的物件，因為埃及全地的美物都是你們的。」』

約瑟說：『若是銀子用盡了，儘管把你們的牲畜給我，我就以你們的牲畜為代價、給你們食物。』

王的心在永恆主手中、像隴溝的水、任隨所喜悅的而流轉。
