设宴是为了欢笑，酒能使人生快乐，钱能解决万事。

你们当把烈酒给将要灭亡的人，把酒给心灵苦涩的人；

人子来了，也吃也喝，他们就说：‘看，这个贪食好酒的人！税吏和罪人的朋友！’然而，智慧是凭着智慧的行为被证明为义的。”

去吧！欢欢喜喜地吃你的饭，心中快乐地喝你的酒；因为神已经悦纳你所做的。

对他说：“人人都是先摆上好酒，等宾客喝醉了，才摆上次等的。你却把好酒留到现在！”
