When Jacob learned that there was grain in Egypt, he said to his sons,“ Why do you just keep looking at each other?”

Jacob found out that there was grain in Egypt. So he said to his sons,“ Why do you just keep looking at one another?”

When Jacob learned that there was grain for sale in Egypt, he said to his sons,“ Why do you look at one another?”

When Jacob heard that grain was available in Egypt, he said to his sons,“ Why are you standing around looking at one another?

When Jacob learned that there was grain in Egypt, he said to his sons,“ Why do you keep looking at each other?

Now Jacob saw that there was grain in Egypt, and Jacob said to his sons,“ Why are you staring at one another?”

雅各聽見埃及有穀糧，就派我們的祖先去，這是第一次。

七年結束的時候，那婦人從非利士地回來，就去為自己的房屋、田產哀求王。那時王正在和神人的僕人基哈西交談，說：“請你向我講述以利沙所作的一切大事。”

以色列人的首領因有命令說：“你們每天本分要做的磚數不可減少”，就知道自己有禍了。

全體人民都看見打雷、閃電、角聲和冒著煙的山；人民看見了，就顫抖，遠遠地站著。

耶和華對約書亞說：“你起來，為甚麼這樣臉伏在地呢？

反而因為看見我受託傳福音給沒有受割禮的人，就像彼得受託傳福音給受割禮的人一樣，

以法蓮看見自己的疾病，猶大家看見自己的創傷，以法蓮就往亞述去，派人去見亞述的大王。可是他卻不能醫治你們，也不能醫好你們的創傷。

他又說：“我聽說埃及有糧食，你們下到那裡去，給我們買些糧食，使我們可以活下去，不至餓死。”

我們為甚麼坐著不動呢？你們要集合起來，我們要進入堅固的城裡去，在那裡滅亡吧！因為耶和華我們的神要我們滅亡，又把毒水給我們喝，因我們得罪了耶和華。

以利亞害怕，就起來，逃命去了。他到了猶大的別是巴，就把自己的僕人留在那裡。

你起來！因為這事全在你身上，我們支持你，你當堅強地去作。”

各地的人都到埃及去，向約瑟買糧，因為各地的饑荒都非常嚴重。

七年饑荒就隨著來了，正像約瑟所說的一樣。各地都有饑荒，只有埃及全地仍有糧食，
