他们对他说：“我们各自做了一个梦，却没有人能讲解。”约瑟对他们说：“解梦不是出于上帝吗？请你们把梦告诉我。”

他们回答说：“我们都做了梦，可是没有人给我们解梦。”约瑟说：“解梦的能力不是来自上帝吗？请你们把梦告诉我。”

他们回答他：“我们各人作了一个梦，但没有人能够解释。”约瑟对他们说：“解梦不是出于神吗？请把梦告诉我吧。”

他對他們說：『我們各作了一個夢，沒有人能解釋。』約瑟對他們說：『解夢不是在於上帝麼？請向我敘說。』

曰、我儕得夢、無人能占、曰、占夢豈非由於上帝乎、請述於我、○

曰、我儕得夢、無人能占其兆。約瑟曰、占其兆者、由於上帝所示、請述其詳。

曰、我儕得夢、無人能解、約瑟曰、解夢非由天主乎、請述於我、

“ We both had dreams,” they answered,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

“ We both had dreams,” they answered.“ But no one can tell us what they mean.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Only God knows what dreams mean. Tell me your dreams.”

They said to him,“ We have had dreams, and there is no one to interpret them.” And Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Please tell them to me.”

And they replied,“ We both had dreams last night, but no one can tell us what they mean.”“ Interpreting dreams is God’s business,” Joseph replied.“ Go ahead and tell me your dreams.”

“ We had dreams,” they said to him,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

And they said to him,“ We have had a dream, and there is no one to interpret it.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Do interpretations not belong to God? Tell it to me, please.”

And they said to him,“ We each have had a dream, and there is no interpreter of it.” So Joseph said to them,“ Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, please.”

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell it me, I pray you.

“ We had dreams,” they said to him,“ but there is no one to interpret them.” Then Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”

And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and[ there is] no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them,[ Do] not interpretations[ belong] to God? tell me[ them], I pray you.

They told him,“ We both had dreams, but there is no one to interpret them.” Joseph responded,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me.”

They said to him,“ We have dreamed a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it.” Joseph said to them,“ Don’t interpretations belong to God? Please tell it to me.”

法老對約瑟說：「我做了一個夢，但無人能解。我聽人說，你聽了夢就能解。」約瑟就回答法老，說：「不是我，是神要回應法老，關乎法老的平安。」

王開口對但以理說：「你既然能顯明這奧祕，那麼你們的神真是萬神之神、萬王之主，是顯明奧祕的那一位！」

然而天上有一位神，就是顯明奧祕的那一位，他已經使尼布甲尼撒王明白了末後的日子將要發生的事——這就是你在床上所做的夢和腦海中的異象。

又有人被賜予了大能的功用，又有人被賜予了做先知傳道的恩賜，又有人被賜予了對不同靈的分辨力，另有人被賜予了各種殊言，又有人被賜予了翻譯殊言的恩賜。然而，這一切都是這同一位聖靈，就是獨一的聖靈所運作的；他照著自己的旨意，個別地分給每個人。

耶和華與敬畏他的人親密，使他們明白他的約。

最後，那照著我神的名稱為伯提沙撒的但以理，來到我面前，他裡面有聖潔之神的靈；我就向他說了這夢：

在你的國中有一個人，他裡面有聖潔之神的靈；你先王年間就發現這人裡面有光明、有悟性、有智慧如同神的智慧；你先王尼布甲尼撒親自任命他為術士、占卜者、迦勒底人和算命者的領袖。你先王這樣做，是因為發現但以理裡面有超卓的靈性、有理智、有悟性，還能解夢、講解謎語、解答難題；先王給他起名為伯提沙撒。現在讓人把但以理召來，他必講明那文字的釋義。」於是但以理被帶到王面前，王就開口對但以理說：「你就是我先王從猶大帶來的猶大被擄之民中的但以理吧！我聽說過你裡面有神的靈，也發現你裡面有光明、悟性、超卓的智慧。現在智慧人和占卜者都被帶到我面前，為要他們讀出這文字，並把它的釋義顯明給我，但他們卻不能講明這句話的釋義；

王所問的事，是件難事，除了不與屬肉體的人住在一起的神明，沒有誰能在王面前講明它。」

儘管有人對你們說：「求問那些喃喃自語、念念有詞的招魂者和通靈者吧」，但百姓難道不應當求問自己的神嗎？難道應當為活人求問死人嗎？
