And Abel also brought an offering— fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering,

And Abel also brought an offering. He brought the fattest parts of some animals from his flock. They were the first animals born to their mothers. The Lord was pleased with Abel and his offering.

亞伯因着信，獻祭與神，比該隱所獻的更美，因此便得了稱義的見證，就是神指他禮物作的見證。他雖然死了，卻因這信，仍舊說話。

那時你要將一切頭生的，並牲畜中頭生的，歸給耶和華；公的都要屬耶和華。

你要以財物和一切初熟的土產尊榮耶和華。

按着律法，凡物差不多都是用血潔淨的；若不流血，罪就不得赦免了。

只是頭生的牛，或是頭生的綿羊和山羊，必不可贖，都是聖的，要把牠的血灑在壇上，把牠的脂油焚燒，當作馨香的火祭獻給耶和華。

記念你的一切供獻，悅納你的燔祭，（細拉）

於是，耶和華降下火來，燒盡燔祭、木柴、石頭、塵土，又燒乾溝裏的水。

凡住在地上、名字從創世以來沒有記在被殺之羔羊生命冊上的人，都要拜牠。

大衛在那裏為耶和華築了一座壇，獻燔祭和平安祭，求告耶和華。耶和華就應允他，使火從天降在燔祭壇上。

所羅門祈禱已畢，就有火從天上降下來，燒盡燔祭和別的祭。耶和華的榮光充滿了殿；

日落天黑，不料有冒煙的爐並燒着的火把從那些肉塊中經過。

有火從耶和華面前出來，在壇上燒盡燔祭和脂油；眾民一見，就都歡呼，俯伏在地。

凡油中、新酒中、五穀中至好的，就是以色列人所獻給耶和華初熟之物，我都賜給你。

耶和華的使者伸出手內的杖，杖頭挨了肉和無酵餅，就有火從磐石中出來，燒盡了肉和無酵餅。耶和華的使者也就不見了。

又有火從耶和華那裏出來，燒滅了那獻香的二百五十個人。

乃是憑着基督的寶血，如同無瑕疵、無玷污的羔羊之血。基督在創世以前是預先被神知道的，卻在這末世才為你們顯現。

祭司要在壇上焚燒，作為馨香火祭的食物。脂油都是耶和華的。在你們一切的住處，脂油和血都不可吃；這要成為你們世世代代永遠的定例。」

你們求告你們神的名，我也求告耶和華的名。那降火顯應的神，就是神。」眾民回答說：「這話甚好。」
