Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass,[ that] every one that findeth me shall slay me.

看哪，今天你从这地驱逐我，以致我要躲避你的面，在大地上成为漂泊、流荡的人，任何找到我的人，都会杀我！”

你如今趕逐我離開這地，以致不見你面；我必流離飄蕩在地上，凡遇見我的必殺我。」

Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.”

You have banished me from the land and from your presence; you have made me a homeless wanderer. Anyone who finds me will kill me!”

The revenger of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him.

The wicked man travaileth with pain all[ his] days, and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor.A dreadful sound[ is] in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.He believeth not that he shall return out of darkness, and he is waited for of the sword.He wandereth abroad for bread,[ saying], Where[ is it]? he knoweth that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.

Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood:

Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote[ him] shall surely be put to death;[ for] he[ is] a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him.

And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:

Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek[ their bread] also out of their desolate places.

And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?

Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

And, behold, the whole family is risen against thine handmaid, and they said, Deliver him that smote his brother, that we may kill him, for the life of his brother whom he slew; and we will destroy the heir also: and so they shall quench my coal which is left, and shall not leave to my husband[ neither] name nor remainder upon the earth.

And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish; and[ they shall be] driven to darkness.

Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me[ with thy] free spirit.[ Then] will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation:[ and] my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

And upon them that are left[ alive] of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.

The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but the righteous hath hope in his death.

Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.What[ is] the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff[ that] is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
