So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there.

“ Therefore Yahweh, the God of Israel, says,‘ I said indeed that your house and the house of your father should walk before me forever.’ But now Yahweh says,‘ Far be it from me; for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me will be cursed.

But the humble shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

He left all that he had in Joseph’s hand. He didn’t concern himself with anything, except for the food which he ate. Joseph was well- built and handsome.After these things, his master’s wife set her eyes on Joseph; and she said,“ Lie with me.”

Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.

No one is greater in this house than I am, and he has not kept back anything from me but you, because you are his wife. How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”
