人们用脚镣伤了他的脚，他的脖子被套进铁索；耶和华的言语熬炼他，直到他的话语应验。

因为人如果为了在神面前良心的缘故，在不公正的苦害中忍受忧患，这是可称赞的；

我为这福音受苦，甚至像罪犯一样被捆绑；然而神的话语是不受捆绑的。

于是这三个人穿着长袍、长裤和其他的衣服，戴着头巾，被绑起来扔进了烈火燃烧的窑中。由于从王发出的命令急迫，窑又烧得非常热，烈火的火焰烧死了那些抬沙德拉克、米沙克、亚伯尼哥的人。

那时司酒长对法老说：“我今天想起了我的罪过。法老曾对臣仆发怒，把我和司膳长关在护卫长府中的牢里。在同一夜，我和他都做了梦，各梦各有其解。在那里有一个希伯来少年与我们在一起，是护卫长的奴仆。我们把梦向他讲述，他就照着我们各自的梦分别为我们解梦。后来，事情正是像他给我们解释的那样发生了：法老使我官复原位，却把司膳长挂了起来。”于是法老派人去召约瑟，他们就急忙把他从地牢里带出来。他剃头刮脸，更换衣服，来到法老面前。

这些事以后，埃及王的司酒长和司膳长得罪了他们的主埃及王。法老就对司酒长和司膳长这两个内臣发怒，把他们关到护卫长府中的牢里，就是约瑟被囚的监狱。

人的怒火，也会使你得称赞；怒火后的余剩之民，你也会用来束腰。

因受迫害和审判，他被除去；谁能述说他的世代呢？其实他从活人之地被剪除、被击打，是因我子民的过犯。
