以色列把约瑟叫来，对他说：“你哥哥们在示剑放羊，我要派你去他们那里。”约瑟说：“好的。”

and Israel said to Joseph,“ As you know, your brothers are grazing the flocks near Shechem. Come, I am going to send you to them.”“ Very well,” he replied.

Israel said to Joseph,“ As you know, your brothers are taking care of the flocks near Shechem. Come. I’m going to send you to them.”“ All right,” Joseph replied.

And Israel said to Joseph,“ Are not your brothers pasturing the flock at Shechem? Come, I will send you to them.” And he said to him,“ Here I am.”

When they had been gone for some time, Jacob said to Joseph,“ Your brothers are pasturing the sheep at Shechem. Get ready, and I will send you to them.”“ I’m ready to go,” Joseph replied.

Israel said to Joseph,“ Your brothers, you know, are pasturing the flocks at Shechem. Get ready. I’m sending you to them.”“ I’m ready,” Joseph replied.

And Israel said to Joseph,“ Are your brothers not pasturing the flock in Shechem? Come, and I will send you to them.” And he said to him,“ I will go.”

And Israel said to Joseph,“ Are not your brothers feeding the flock in Shechem? Come, I will send you to them.” So he said to him,“ Here I am.”

And Israel said unto Joseph, Are not thy brethren feeding the flock in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here am I.

Israel said to Joseph,“ Your brothers, you know, are pasturing the flocks at Shechem. Get ready. I’m sending you to them.”“ I’m ready,” Joseph replied.

And Israel said unto Joseph, Do not thy brethren feed[ the flock] in Shechem? come, and I will send thee unto them. And he said to him, Here[ am I].

Israel said to Joseph,“ Your brothers are grazing the flocks near Shechem. Come, I will send you to them.”“ I’m ready,” Joseph replied.

Israel said to Joseph,“ Aren’t your brothers feeding the flock in Shechem? Come, and I will send you to them.” He said to him,“ Here I am.”

雅各来到他父亲那里，说：“我父啊！”以撒说：“我在这里！我儿啊，你是谁呢？”

以利呼唤撒母耳，说：“撒母耳，我儿！”他回答：“我在这里。”

以撒年老的时候，眼睛衰弱，以致不能看见，就把他的大儿子以扫叫来，说：“我儿啊！”以扫说：“我在这里！”

耶和华呼唤撒母耳，撒母耳就回应：“我在这里！”然后他跑到以利那里，说：“我在这里，你呼唤我了吗？”以利说：“我没有呼唤你，回去睡吧。”他就去睡了。耶和华再次呼唤撒母耳，撒母耳就起来，到以利那里，说：“我在这里，你呼唤了我吗？”以利说：“我没有呼唤你，我儿，回去睡吧。”

耶和华第三次又呼唤撒母耳，撒母耳就起来，到以利那里，说：“我在这里，你呼唤我了吗？”以利这才明白，是耶和华在呼唤这孩子。

这些事以后，神试验亚伯拉罕，对他说：“亚伯拉罕！”他说：“我在这里！”

“葡萄园的主人就说：‘我该做什么呢？我要派遣我的爱子，或许他们会尊重他。’

“看哪，我差派你们出去，就像把羊送进狼群中，所以你们要像蛇那样聪明，像鸽子那样纯洁。

你们做儿女的，要在主里顺从自己的父母，因为这是理所当然的。“要孝敬父母，使你得福，在地上长寿。”这是第一条带着应许的诫命。

有一天，耶西对他儿子大卫说：“你现在要给你的哥哥们带去这二十二公升烤好的麦子和这十个饼，赶快去营地你哥哥们那里；同时也给千夫长带上这十块奶酪。你要看看你哥哥们是否平安，带回来一个他们的信物。扫罗与他们以及以色列众人正在以拉溪谷与非利士人争战。”于是大卫清早起来，把羊群交托给一个看守的人，就照着耶西所吩咐的，带上东西出发了。他来到行营时，军队正出去摆阵，呐喊出战。
