对弟兄们说：“大家来堆积石头。”他们拿石头堆成一堆，于是在那里，在石堆旁边吃喝。

又对众弟兄说：“你们堆聚石头。”他们就拿石头来堆成一堆，大家便在旁边吃喝。

亦命戚族積石、眾乃取石、積累為堆、共食其側、

亦謂戚族曰、爾可積石、乃群取石、積累為崗、共食於其上。

又謂諸兄弟曰、爾可聚石、眾乃取石、積累為垤、共食於垤上、

He said to his relatives,“ Gather some stones.” So they took stones and piled them in a heap, and they ate there by the heap.

He said to his relatives,“ Get some stones.” So they took stones and put them in a pile. And they ate there by it.

And Jacob said to his kinsmen,“ Gather stones.” And they took stones and made a heap, and they ate there by the heap.

Then he told his family members,“ Gather some stones.” So they gathered stones and piled them in a heap. Then Jacob and Laban sat down beside the pile of stones to eat a covenant meal.

Then Jacob said to his relatives,“ Gather stones.” And they took stones and made a mound, then ate there by the mound.

你搜遍了我一切的物件，你找到什么呢？可以放在你我弟兄面前，叫他们在我们两个之间评评理。

约书亚把他们从约旦河取来的那十二块石头立在吉甲，对以色列人说：“日后，你们的子孙问他们的父亲说：‘这些石头是什么意思呢？’你们就让你们的子孙知道，说：‘以色列人曾走干地过这约旦河。’因为耶和华—你们的神在你们前面使约旦河的水干了，直到你们过来，就如耶和华—你们的神从前在我们前面使红海干了，直到我们过来一样，要使地上万民都知道，耶和华的手大有能力，也要使你们天天敬畏耶和华—你们的神。”

丢石头有时，捡石头有时；怀抱有时，不抱有时；

至于你的神明，你若在谁那里搜出来，就不让谁活。当着我们弟兄面前，你认一认在我这里有什么东西是你的，你就拿去吧。”原来雅各并不知道拉结偷了神明。

约书亚对他们说：“你们要过去，到约旦河中，耶和华—你们神的约柜前面，按以色列人支派的数目，每人各取一块石头扛在肩上。这些石头在你们中间将成为记号。日后，你们的子孙问你们说：‘这些石头对你们有什么意思呢？’你们就对他们说：‘这是因为约旦河的水在耶和华的约柜前中断；约柜过约旦河的时候，约旦河的水就中断了。这些石头要作以色列人永远的纪念。’”以色列人就照约书亚所吩咐的做了。他们按以色列人支派的数目，从约旦河中取了十二块石头，正如耶和华所吩咐约书亚的。他们把石头带过去，到他们所住宿的地方，就放在那里。约书亚另外把十二块石头立在约旦河的中间，在抬约柜祭司的脚站立的地方；直到今日，石头还在那里。

他们拿下押沙龙，把他丢在树林中一个大坑里，上头堆起一大堆石头。以色列众人都逃跑，各回自己的帐棚去了。

拉班带着他的弟兄们去追他，追了七天，就在基列山追上了。

众人在亚干身上堆了一大堆石头，直存到今日。于是耶和华转意，不发他的烈怒。因此，那地方名叫亚割谷，直到今日。

又在山上献祭，请弟兄们来吃饭。他们吃了饭，就在山上过夜。
