I have the power to harm you; but last night the God of your father said to me,‘ Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.’

I have the power to harm you. But last night the God of your father spoke to me. He said,‘ Be careful. Do not say anything to Jacob, whether it is good or bad.’

It is in my power to do you harm. But the God of your father spoke to me last night, saying,‘ Be careful not to say anything to Jacob, either good or bad.’

I could destroy you, but the God of your father appeared to me last night and warned me,‘ Leave Jacob alone!’

但願亞伯拉罕的神和拿鶴的神，就是他們父親的神，在你我中間判斷。」雅各就指着他父親以撒所敬畏的神起誓，

若不是我父親以撒所敬畏的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神與我同在，你如今必定打發我空手而去。神看見我的苦情和我的勞碌，就在昨夜責備你。」

耶和華站在梯子以上，說：「我是耶和華－你祖亞伯拉罕的神，也是以撒的神；我要將你現在所躺臥之地賜給你和你的後裔。

夜間，神到亞蘭人拉班那裏，在夢中對他說：「你要小心，不可與雅各說好說歹。」

現在，我勸你們不要管這些人，任憑他們吧！他們所謀的、所行的，若是出於人，必要敗壞；若是出於神，你們就不能敗壞他們，恐怕你們倒是攻擊神了。」

臨近坑邊，哀聲呼叫但以理，對但以理說：「永生神的僕人但以理啊，你所常事奉的神能救你脫離獅子嗎？」

他說：「主啊！你是誰？」主說：「我就是你所逼迫的耶穌。

約書亞對眾民說：「耶和華－以色列的神如此說：『古時你們的列祖，就是亞伯拉罕和拿鶴的父親他拉，住在大河那邊事奉別神，我將你們的祖宗亞伯拉罕從大河那邊帶來，領他走遍迦南全地，又使他的子孫眾多，把以撒賜給他；

尼布甲尼撒說：「沙得拉、米煞、亞伯尼歌的神是應當稱頌的！他差遣使者救護倚靠他的僕人，他們不遵王命，捨去己身，在他們神以外不肯事奉敬拜別神。

「你們對猶大王希西家如此說：『不要聽你所倚靠的神欺哄你，說耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。

彼拉多說：「你不對我說話嗎？你豈不知我有權柄釋放你，也有權柄把你釘十字架嗎？」耶穌回答說：「若不是從上頭賜給你的，你就毫無權柄辦我。所以，把我交給你的那人罪更重了。」

王對但以理說：「你既能顯明這奧祕的事，你們的神誠然是萬神之神、萬王之主，又是顯明奧祕事的。」

現在我降旨曉諭我所統轄的全國人民，要在但以理的神面前，戰兢恐懼。因為他是永遠長存的活神，他的國永不敗壞；他的權柄永存無極！

勇士啊，你為何以作惡自誇？神的慈愛是常存的。
