“ You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman.

“ You will certainly not die,” the serpent said to the woman.

But the serpent said to the woman,“ You will not surely die.

“ You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman.

“ No! You will certainly not die,” the serpent said to the woman.

The serpent said to the woman,“ You certainly will not die!

Then the serpent said to the woman,“ You will not surely die.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

“ No! You will not die,” the serpent said to the woman.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

The serpent said to the woman,“ Surely you will not die,

The serpent said to the woman,“ You won’t really die,

You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (niv)

But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. (niv)

Then the Lord God said to the woman,“ What is this you have done?” The woman said,“ The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” (niv)

He told the king,“ This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel for you to consult that you have sent messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Because you have done this, you will never leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!” (niv)

in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. (niv)

And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner. (niv)

When such a person hears the words of this oath and they invoke a blessing on themselves, thinking,“ I will be safe, even though I persist in going my own way,” they will bring disaster on the watered land as well as the dry. (niv)

He says to himself,“ God will never notice; he covers his face and never sees.” (niv)

“ A man came to meet us,” they replied.“ And he said to us,‘ Go back to the king who sent you and tell him,“ This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!”’” (niv)

Therefore this is what the Lord says:‘ You will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!’” So Elijah went. (niv)
