當其存日、眾庶子各有所予、使往東方、以避以撒。

時以色列族無王、有利未人、旅以法蓮山麓、取妾於猶大、伯利恆邑。妾不悅其夫、離之歸於父家、居彼四月。

留之三日、飲食而宿。

遂以婢辟拉予夫同室。

有羊七千、駝三千、牛五百耦、牝驢五百、僕從眾多、甲於東方。

夜未央即起、使二妻二婢及十一子濟雅泊渡。

如此、則可為天父之子、蓋天父以日照夫善不善、以雨濡夫義不義者也、

然上帝善視人、雨降自天、果生以時、賜我贏糧、喜溢於心、如是、證己為上帝矣、

耶和華兮、手援拯我、斯世害予兮、爾其免我、乃彼至今兮、反得福祜、富有兮豐亨、寖昌兮寢熾、業遺於子孫、惟我行義、望爾榮光、其興也勃然、克覿爾面、則余之願盈焉。

其居迦南已歷十載、妻撒勑令納埃及婢夏甲、

亞伯拉罕繼娶、名基都喇、

以色列居彼、聞流便烝其妾辟拉。

烏士有人、品行純良、孳孳為善、寅畏上帝、遠諸不善、厥名約百、

利亞久不妊、以婢悉帕與夫同室。
